Fox gives untitled John Stamos comedy put pilot commitment

The untitled John Stamos comedy from Dan Fogelman and ABC Studios was picked up by Fox on Thursday who has given it a put pilot commitment.

The comedy, which will be written by Danny Chun, follows Stamos as a charismatic and outgoing guy who discovers not only does he have a son, but a grandson to boot, TheWrap reports.

The comedy has all three move in to the same house and Stamos' character discovers that his son's personality is opposite his, nerdy and awkward.

The former Full House actor has been busy as of late and is also working on the midseason upstairs/downstairs drama Members Only at ABC, where he will star opposite Natalie Zea as her billionaire husband who finally gains admittance to an exclusive Connecticut country club.

Zea's character is a member thanks to being part of the founding family and is described as the only one with her life in order. Members Only will follow both those who have membership and those who work at the club.

On top of that, he is also developing a musical film based around The Beach Boys' music with Neil Meron and Craig Zadan at 20th Century Fox.
