A Florida art gallery announced on Tuesday that an upcoming exhibition will not feature stolen celebrity nude photos after all.
The "No Delete" exhibit at the Cory Allen Contemporary Art Showroom will go on, but pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and others will not be included, Fox News reports.
"It was inspiring to see people take action through a petition, signing their name and not just commenting on a thread," Cory Allen said in a statement.
"People were identifying with Jennifer Lawrence's and Kate Upton's victimization much more than I had anticipated," artists XVALA said, "which is powerfully persuasive."
The good news comes less than a week after the art gallery and XVALA announced plans to display the stolen photographs that were posted online for all to see.
The "No Delete" exhibit was XVALA's attempt to show "the ongoing debate over privacy in the digital era," Allen said. They were to be blown up to life-size and shown off at the St. Petersburg showroom.
Other photos at the exhibit include photos found through Google, including other celebrities in their vulnerable moments. It is supposed to open Oct. 30.
