Dave Haywood, Lady Antebellum guitarist, and wife Kelli Cashiola Haywood welcome baby boy

Lady Antebellum guitarist Dave Haywood's wife Kelli Cashiola Haywood gave birth to the couple's first child on Sunday.

Haywood took to the band's Twitter account on Monday to announce the news to the group's fans. "So happy to have a healthy baby boy here with us!" he tweeted. "Cash Van Haywood was born last night, Mom & Dad are doing great and couldn't be happier!"

The guitarist previously revealed that he and his wife Kelli were expecting their first child not long after they celebrated their second wedding anniversary back in April, E! News reports.

Cash is the second child by members of Lady Antebellum, with frontwoman Hillary Scott beating out Haywood by about a year with their young daughter. Her daughter with husband Chris Tyrell is named Eisele Kaye Tyrrell.

Lady Antebellum's rep told People, Cash weighs 7 lbs and the couple named him after Haywood's father.

The band had to cancel Sunday night's concert at the Allegan County Fair in Michigan after Haywood discovered that his wife went into labor early.
