Top 10 NFL Teams Entering the 2014 Season

After months of no football, fans can feel that the season is just around the corner. Teams reported to training camp a few weeks ago and practices are underway. The first preseason games are about to kickoff, and now that it is August, we can say that the regular season is next month. Well, since the teams are about to begin their four-game preseason schedules, it is a good time to take a look at who the top 10 teams are entering the 2014 season. There are some major questions that factor into the ranking, such as: After a dominating performance in Super Bowl XLVII, will the Seattle Seahawks be the favorites to claim their second Lombardi Trophy? Is the Denver Bronco offense going to continue to put up historic numbers? After coming so close to the Super Bowl last season, will the 49ers get back to the big game? Do Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have another run at a fourth Lombardi trophy in them? Can the Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles repeat their magic from last year that led all three of them to the postseason? While these questions will be answered over the course of the season, here is a look at how these teams stack up entering the 2014 season.
