Top 10 Alyson Stoner roles

It looks like we need to get out 21 birthday candles for a former Disney star. Actress and dancer Alyson Stoner’s birthday is today, August 11th!

Stoner has been in the entertainment industry throughout her entire childhood, appearing in a plentiful amount of music videos, movies, and television shows. She was even a backup dancer for Outkast (“Hey Ya!,” “Roses,” and “Miss Jackson”) and Will Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).

The Camp Rock actress recently completed a number of projects that have yet to come out, including Selling Isobel (2014), The A-List (2014), and Hoovey (2015), and currently teaches hip-hop classes at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood. Stoner is the youngest person to ever teach a master class at the popular dance studio, which has housed a number of A-list celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Diddy, Britney Spears, Usher, Pink, and Robin Antin.

10. Expecting Amish
Alyson Stoner recently appeared in Lifetime’s television movie, Expecting Amish, starring AJ Michalka (Super 8), Cayden Boyd (Mystic River), Aurelia Scheppers (The Snow Queen), Ron Ely (Tarzan), Jesse McCartney (Keith), and Brian Krause (Charmed).

Fans were able to see Stoner and Michalka as two Amish girls, Hannah and Mary, who take an adventure into Hollywood and discover a different side to the world. When Hannah (Michalka) meets a young DJ (McCartney), the adventurous girls are forced to decide whether or not they want to go back to their old lives.

Stoner starred alongside Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Omar Epps, Robert Sean Leonard, Peter Jacobson, Jess Spencer and Olivia Wilde in House's seventh season episode “Selfish.”

Stoner adds suspense to the episode as Della, a young and active fourteen-year-old girl whose health starts to decline after she collapses at a skateboarding expedition. Because Della’s brother is terminally ill, House and his team of doctor’s scramble to diagnose the young girl before the family loses hope.

Alyson Stoner stars alongside Matt LeBlanc in an episode of NBC’s Joey, a spin-off series of the hit show Friends that follows Joey Tribbiani as moves to Los Angeles to follow his dreams of becoming an actor.

Stoner plays Kaley, a young computer savvy girl who runs a website dedicated to making fun of actors. When she writes a bad movie review about Tribbiani, he confronts her to find out her reasoning behind her bad review.

7. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody features Dylan Sprouse, Cole Sprouse, Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song, Phill Lewis, Kim Rhodes, and Adrian R’Mante in this hit comedy series.

Alyson appeared in various episodes on Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Max, a tomboy who gets mistaken as a boy several times during the show and is a friend of two identical twins, Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody (Cole Sprouse), who live in the Tipton Hotel.

6. Phineas and Ferb
Alyson Stoner voices the adorable character, Isabella, on Disney’s hit cartoon series Phineas and Ferb, starring Vincent Martella, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ashley Tisdale, Dan Povenmire, Dee Bradley Baker, Caroline Rhea, and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh.

Stoner has appeared on the Disney show since the first season, instantly developing a large fan base and coining the phrase “hey watcha doing” for Isabella. Throughout the course of the show, Isabella, who lives across the street from Phineas and Ferb, consistently helps the duo with their projects to earn “help thy neighbor” badges for her girl scout troop, all while crushing on Phineas.

Remember the catchy phrase “Mikes Super Short Show?” Alyson Stoner appeared alongside Mike Johnson in Disney’s super short show during the commercial breaks of popular Disney shows.

Stoner appeared on the show as Sally, the younger sister of Mike, who assisted him in discussing the latest entertainment news, including movies, DVDs, special features, and sometimes guest interviews.

Alyson Stoner appeared as Camille alongside Channing Tatum (22 Jump Street), Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Tamara), Damaine Radcliff (Supah Ninjas), and De’Shawn Washington (The Poker House) in Touchstone Pictures’ Step Up.
Stoner has been in a few of the Step Up films - Step Up 3D and Step Up All In - however, her portrayal in the first film of Tatum’s sister, Camille, won over the hearts of fans with her impressive dance moves.
