Sister of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaev threatens to bomb woman

The sister of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaev allegedly threatened to bomb another woman.

Ailina Tsarnaeva called up her boyfriend's ex, who lives in New York, and threatened injury to the woman if she didn't leave them alone, The New York Post reports.

"Leave us alone," the 23-year-old New Jersey resident is accused of saying. "I know people who can put a bomb on you."

The woman, who is currently going through a custody dispute gone sour, called police. Tsarnaeva then turned herself in and was charged with aggravated harassment.

This is the second run-in with the law for Tsarnaeva, as she was previously involved in a counterfeiting case three years ago. While an obstruction charge against her was later dropped, she was accused of knowing customers who paid with fake money at a restaurant and then later lied about it.

Tsarnaeva's two brothers are accused of planting bombs during the 2013 Boston Marathon. While Tamerlan Tsarnaev died during the manhunt, Dzhohkar is currently awaiting trial. According to NBC New York, he is charged with building and planting the bombs.

Three people died and more than 260 suffered injuries as a result of his alleged actions.

In early August, a friend of the suspected bomber, Stephen Silva pleaded not guilty to trafficking heroin and possession of a handgun with a filed down serial number.
