While it appears that age is just a number for Mary-Kate Olsen, 27, and her fiancé, Olivier Sarkozy, 44, the debated couple has managed to keep their relationship private throughout the course of the almost three-year relationship.
We previously reported that the Full House actress was engaged to the French banker, who is a father of two and the half brother of the former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy.
While they have kept their 17-year-age-gap relationship fairly private, the couple was recently in the Hamptons at an event for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The happy couple publicly expressed their affection for each other at the gathering, allowing for partygoers to observe to controversial couple’s relationship.
“It just kind of works,” an onlooker exclusively tells People. “I know everybody thinks [about] the age difference, but you didn't get that sense."
Another partygoer admitted Sarkozy was “very playful” and “very publicly affectionate” towards the Beastly actress, adding that the couple looked “natural” and “happy to be there.”
The event, Paddle & Party for Pink, took place at designer Lisa Perry’s Hamptons home and raised $15 million dollars for the cause.
