The Hills star Audrina Patridge admits she hasn’t had much contact with her MTV costars.
As the spin-off to MTV’s hit reality series Laguna Beach, The Hills starred Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, and Brody Jenner and concluded with its final season in 2010. However, because Kristin Cavalari concluded the final season instead of Lauren Conrad, The Hills series finale left fans to wonder what happened with the on-again, off-again friends.
“Just from being with each other on the show, it brought us all together. Once the show ended, we all kind of went our separate ways. I needed a break; I was burnt out,” Patridge told Joan Rivers on E!’s The Fashion Police. “And I really needed time to figure out who I was and what I wanted. Cause you have producers telling you who to be friends with, how to act, what to do everyday, what to say, and you lose who you are.”
While the friends may not have kept in contact as much as some fans had hoped, Patridge admitted she speaks to Cavalari and Heidi Montag occasionally.
Patridge is currently a host on NBC’s late night travel series, 1st Look, where the reality TV star travels around the world to highlight noteworthy restaurants.
The 1st Look star exclusively told The Hollywood Reporter, "It's one of my dream jobs because I love doing different adventures, and I have a passion for trying just about anything, which fits what this show is about.”
