Demi Lovato finally explains why she unfollowed her ex 'BFF' Selena Gomez on Twitter

It looks like the BFF friendship of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez is currently down hill-- for now, of course.

The former disney star, stopped by Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," on Thursday along side Sin City: A Dame To Kill star, Jessica Alba, where she agreed to play the game "Plead the Fifth," with host, Andy Cohen. Cohen reminded the pop star, however, that she could only skip one of his three questions.

Cohen started off the round by asking who she would "Shag, Kill, or Marry": Justin Bieber, Joe Jonas, and Simon Cowell. "I'd kill Bieber, I'd kill Simon, F--k it! I'd kill Joe, too!" Lovato said, jokingly. "No, Joe and I are good friends, so I wouldn't kill him. I'd keep him around."

Demi then opted out the next question. "Not including your own behavior, what is the most scandalous thing you ever saw a Disney Channel star do?" Cohen asked. "And you don't have to name a name."

Demi's response you ask? "I can't answer that! I plead the fifth."

But when it came down to her third and final question, Demi was already regretting that decision when Cohen asked, "You recently unfollowed your BFF Selena Gomez on Twitter. So much speculation about this! Can you tell us why?"

Demi then answered, "I plead the sixth, if that's in the game." Cohen then added, "Are people reading too much into this? Are they reading into something that doesn't exist?"

"I think it's just one of those things were people change, and people grow apart," Lovato answered.

Back in Decemeber, Selena took to her Instagram account to post a photo of the two hugging and smiling.

According to US Weekly, it wasn't until July, when fans noticed that Demi unfollowed Selena on Twitter, then allegedly tweeted and deleted that same day "Swimming away from the bulls--t. Bye b---h."

In another segment, Cohen asked the "Neon Lights" singer if she truly believes she projected a diva attitude as a judge on the singing competition, the X- Factor.

“I’m a very honest person and I really just tell it like it is, and you see it on my face,” said Demi, who was reassured by Jessica that she doesn’t come off as catty. “So, clearly … I always just wanted to focus on being constructive. Sometimes it was really hard because there wasn’t anything constructive to say, like, ‘Honey, this isn’t going to happen," Lovato said.
