Actress, singer and songwriter Demi Lovato turns 22 today. Lovato made her debut as a child actress in Barney and Friends. In 2008, Lovato rose to fame in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. She released her debut album, Don't Forget, which has been certified gold for sales of over 530,000 copies. In 2009 Lovato received her own television series, Sonny with a Chance. That July her second album, Here We Go Again, debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, and its title track became her first single to break the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 15, and being certified Platinum.
After the release of additional television films and their soundtracks in 2010, including Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Lovato's personal issues put her career on hiatus and ended Sonny with a Chance after its second season. Her third album, Unbroken, addresses several of her difficulties. Its lead single, "Skyscraper", became Lovato's first single at the time to be certified platinum in the United States; its second single, "Give Your Heart a Break", was certified triple platinum.
Lovato was as a judge and mentor on the American version of The X Factor in 2012 and 2013. Her fourth album, Demi, had first-week sales of 110,000 copies. Its lead single, "Heart Attack," was certified triple platinum in the United States. In May 2014, shortly after the Neon Lights Tour, Lovato announced her fourth concert tour, the Demi World Tour, also in support of her album Demi, marking Lovato's first world tour. A total of four singles were released from Demi, including "Made in the USA", "Neon Lights", which was certified Platinum in the US, and her latest single "Really Don't Care".

Actress and singer Amy Adams turns 40 today. Adams began her career on stage performing in dinner theater and made her screen debut with the 1999 dark comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous. After moving to Los Angeles and appearing in a series of television guest appearances, she was cast in the role of Brenda Strong in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can in 2002. Her breakthrough role came with the 2005 independent film Junebug, for which she received critical acclaim and her first of five Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Adams starred in Disney's 2007 musical film Enchanted and received a Golden Globe Award nomination for her performance. She received her second Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations and first BAFTA Award nomination for her supporting role in the 2008 film Doubt.
Adams received two more Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award nominations for her supporting roles in the 2010 sports drama The Fighter and the 2012 psychological drama The Master. She achieved further success in 2013 for portraying Lois Lane in the Superman movie Man of Steel, a supporting role in the Spike Jonze-directed comedy-drama Her, and a con artist in David O. Russell's crime film American Hustle, the latter earning her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, along with a fourth BAFTA nomination, and a fifth Oscar nomination, her first in the Best Actress category.
Adams is currently engaged to actor and artist Darren Le Gallo, and gave birth to their first child, daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo, in May 2010.
Kirko Bangz, 25

Rapper and singer Kirko Bangz turns 25 today. Born Kirk Jerel Randle, Bangz released his first mixtape, Procrastination Kills, in 2009. He released his first official single titled "What Yo Name Iz?" in February 2011, and it has since peaked at No. 41 on the Billboard 100 chart. He released another mixtape shortly after in March 2011 titled Procrastination Kills 3. His second single, "Drank In My Cup," was released in September 2011. The single debuted at No. 96 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has since peaked at No. 28 on the chart and at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. The song spawned many remixes and freestyles featuring hip-hop artists J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Tyga, Bow Wow, Kid Ink, Chamillionaire and Trey Songz. Bangz released a new mixtape called Procrastination Kills 4 in September 2012. His third single from his debut album titled "Keep It Trill" was released in November 2012.
In March 2013, Bangz announced the title of his debut album to be, Bigger Than Me. Bangz released another mixtape, Progression 3 in August 2013, and featured guest appearances from Wale, French Montana, Paul Wall, YG, and Slim Thug among others. He was moved to Atlantic Records, another subsidiarity of Warner Music Group. Then on January 28, 2014, Bangz released the album's first single "Hoe" featuring YG and Yo Gotti. His debut album has a 2014 release date by Atlantic Records.
