A Qantas flight toward Melbourne, Australia was interrupted after a water leak caused the plane to return to Los Angeles.
The A380 was a large jet with four-engines and two decks of passengers. It was 30,000 feet over the Pacific Ocean, according to CNBC. The flight landed at Los Angeles International Airport about an hour after takeoff.
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who stars in the show, Community, was on the flight. She thanked everyone for their concerns on Twitter.
Thanks for the concerned tweets! All is well. 🙂 @QantasAirways & their flight & gate crews were so awesome to all of us. #SoVeryGrateful

The captain turned the plane around to provide “passenger comfort,” according to the Associated Press. The average flight time would have been 15 hours, but as the passengers became soaked, the pilot decided to turn the plane around. The leak began about an hour into the flight. The passengers were not injured.
The plane landed about an hour and a half after the leak started. Approximately 400 passengers arrived safely in Los Angeles, and they were given reservations at a hotel.
