Lionsgate, an American-Canadian company, is known for bringing many popular films to the big screen – including The Hunger Games, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and Divergent - holding their place as one of the most successful and noteworthy entertainment companies in Hollywood.
The company was originally started in Vancouver, Canada. As the company grew, it’s headquarters were relocated to Santa Monica, CA, where it remains to this day. Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate, was able to turn the independent film company into one of the largest entertainment companies in the world, which currently accumulates a yearly revenue of $2 billion.
While Lionsgate is most known for releasing films that are based off of popular book franchises, they recently revealed they are in the process of making a film revolving around the life of Jeff Baumer, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing. In honor of their announcement, here are our top 10 Lionsgate films!
