Because Diaz is currently dating Benji Madden, according to People Magazine, fans have been wondering what the happy couple is planning for the future.
Esquire recently released an exclusive interview with Diaz where she admitted, to many fan’s disappointment, “It's so much more work to have children…A baby – that's all day, every day for 18 years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother.”
To the fans that were hoping Diaz would eventually have a small prodigy to follow in her footsteps, it seems as though having children is not the next step for the actress. At the very least, we know we can look forward to Diaz investing more of her time and dedication into creating box-office films for us to enjoy.
