It was only a couple of weeks ago, when we learned that Dave Grohl would have a series coming to HBO that would document the recording of the new Foo Fighters' album, as well as the historic studios he would be recording at.
Now, we have our first glimpse of the upcoming series, titled "Sonic Highway", courtesy of a 20 second teaser trailer, narrated by Grohl, on HBO's YouTube page:
We know, thanks to Grohl-biographer Paul Brannigan, that the series will take us to legendary recording studios across America, including locations in Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle and Nashville.
It will also contain interviews from renowned artists that collaborated with Grohl on the upcoming Foo Fighters' release, such as Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, and Joe Walsh.
"Sonic Highway" is anticipated to begin airing this winter.
