Wiggins, who was signed by Los Angeles in the offseason, has played in one game so far this season. She was scoreless with one assist, one steal and one block in the Sparks’ 80-69 season-opening win over the Seattle Storm, reports ESPN.
Wiggins is in her seventh season in the WNBA. She was with the Minnesota Lynx for the first five seasons of her career. She averaged 15.7 points per game as a rookie. She was a member of the 2011 championship team.
She then went on to play for the Tulsa Shock for the 2013 season. In 32 games, she averaged 10.1 points per game. She started all but one of these games and averaged 27.4 minutes per contest, according to basketball-reference.com .
The Sparks are in third place in the Western Conference with a record of 2-2. They will visit the defending Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night.
