Outkast is returning home later this year with a show in Atlanta

It's not news that Outkast have reunited and are set to perform at what seems like every festival this summer.

The news many were waiting for was when the Atlanta duo of Big Boi and Andre 3000 would finally bring their reunion home.

Fans no longer have to wonder, as the band announced they will be coming Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta on Sept. 27, according to a statement on the group's official website.

“It's only right that we give the hometown what we've been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers!,” said Big Boi in the statement.

"Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you," said André 3000.

The duo will be adding acts to join them at the Atlanta date, and will be updating fans with news on the website outkastatlast.com.
