Kristen Bell is looking forward to hosting the CMT Music Awards tonight.
"You guys have always been very good to me and you invited me again," Bell told executive producers John Hamlin and Michael Dempsey during a Tuesday afternoon press conference at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, according to CMT.com. "And I look for any excuse to come back to Nashville, especially to weasel my way into hosting this show because I find it to be the best concert I have ever been to."
Bell told Rolling Stone, that she thinks of the show less as an “awards ceremony and more of a live concert.”
Performers are gearing up for a great evening. Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Jake Owen, and Lady Antebellum will take to the stage. Presenters include the Eli Young Band, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Keith Urban, Kip Moore, Lionel Richie, Sara Evans, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts, Cassadee Pope, and Motley Crue's Vince Neil.
A specials award will be given to Alan Jackson, who will be recognized for 25 years of making memorable music videos. Recording artist, Carrie Underwood, will presenting him with the award.
The CMT Music Awards will begin on June 4 at 7PM.
