This week on Jennifer Falls, Jennifer ditches Dina to hang out with her old friends from a health club, and Wayne and Stephanie start making a baby under the advisement of Maggie.
Jennifer walks into the living room and sees her car being towed away. She runs outside to chase the tow truck, claiming she may be behind on a few payments. The driver says she's missed a lot of payments, which makes Jennifer unload all of her problems. The driver says he'll let her get her stuff out of the console if she keeps chasing him in her sports bra. She's offended but runs off anyway.
Maggie enters the bar and talks to Jennifer for a little bit before speaking to Wayne about the health scare she had last week. She begins to talk about Wayne making a baby with Stephanie because she wants another grandchild. Wayne feels it's none of Maggie's business, so she'll back off for now. I personally feel it's none of Maggie's business, as well. Wayne and Stephanie will have a baby when they're ready.
Dina and Jennifer are talking about going bowling. Jennifer finds her membership card from the health club she used to frequent. Dina expresses her disdain for delivering packages over there. Jennifer wonders if she can get a refund on her membership, since it's a lot of money to join.
She goes to the health club and fails to get her refund. As she's getting her money's worth of fruit, she turns around and realizes she's missed her glamorous life as an investment banker.
Wayne is talking with the mail delivery guy about getting his mom to back off the idea of having a baby. Maggie and Stephanie enter with an announcement that they're going to make a baby. Wayne looks unhappy.
Jennifer runs into her old friends, Francine and Carrie at the club. She denies working at a bar and living with her mom. They chit-chat for a bit about mindfulness and make plans for dinner to catch up.
Dina meets with Jennifer at the bar to make plans for dinner before bowling. Jennifer realizes she has a scheduling conflict, so she lies to Dina about having to help out her neighbor, which we know will backfire.
Wayne and Stephanie talk about making a baby, while Maggie brings Wayne boxers and Stephanie an ovulation kit.
Jennifer takes the bus to her dinner and worries about the bill when Francine and Carrie offer to have a buffet-style meal.
While the bar is packed, Wayne and Stephanie find a closet to start making out in. Both find it difficult to get in the mood when Maggie enters their heads.
When the check comes for dinner, Jennifer offers to pay, claiming it's her birthday. Francine and Carrie tell her they will cover the bill, while Dina texts Jennifer about where she is. As Jennifer attempts to leave, Francine and Carrie have a birthday cake sent to their table for her.
She misses the bus, but catches up with Dina at the bowling alley. Dina is bitter towards Jennifer for breaking their plans. Jennifer explains her whereabouts, but Dina is insincere. As Dina leaves hurt, Jennifer offers to make it up to her with tickets to The Black Keys.
Jennifer and Dina are at the concert getting ready to take their seats, but Dina wants another box of wine. Francine and Carrie arrive and offer Jennifer to join their box for one drink. She says she'll come by.
Gretchen and Maggie are sitting at home looking through her baby pictures. As Gretchen recalls her childhood, Maggie remembers how bad raising kids could be.
Dina and Jennifer are in their seats when Jennifer gets a text to go in Francine and Carrie's box. She offers to get Dina nachos as an excuse. Russell, the ticket guy won't accept Jennifer's 'verbal ticket,' so she ends up stealing someone else's ticket. She meets with the girls in their box and starts talking business with an investor. She gets a text from Dina prompting her to return to her seat. Jennifer arrives with a champagne flute, which confuses Dina, but she offers to go back for her nachos.
Wayne and Stephanie arrive at Maggie's house to talk about the baby situation. Maggie doesn't want to be saddled with another grandchild, but Wayne and Stephanie get in the mood anyway and leave.
Jennifer attempts to get back in the box, but Russell won't let her. Francine and Carrie spot her with nachos, and Dina catches up to her. They believe Dina is an investor, but she remembers them as the friends Jennifer ditched her for when they went bowling. Jennifer explains everything to Francine and Carrie, but Dina leaves.
She finds Dina and apologizes for her behavior. Dina tells her she hates when she leaves her behind. They end up going to the health club together.
This episode sends a message about never forgetting who your real friends are. Francine and Carrie only seem to care about the amount of money Jennifer makes, while Dina cares about her being there for her as a friend. I would rather have a friend like Dina who respects people for what they do, not what they have.
