Actress Evan Rachel Wood is being asked to fight a $30 million lawsuit.
The actress is being sued for refusing to complete the sequel to the smash hit movie, 10 Things I Hate About You. According to the claim, she refused to return to work to complete the film in November of 2013, according to the Daily Mail.
A representative said that “enough is enough” and called the lawsuit “preposterous” and a “bullying tactic.”
According to Deadline, a statement from the actress read, “The production shut down in February 2013 when the producers ran out of money. Even after that, Evan agreed to resume production in Nov. 2013 by which time the producers said they would have cleared up their issues. However, the producers still could not get their act together, nor did they pay Evan money that was owed…Enough is enough. The producers, not Evan, have breached contract.”
Wood is known for her work in The Ides of March, A Case of You, and The Wrestler.
