Drake releases new single '0 to 100/The Catch Up' (Audio)

In the months leading up to the September 2013 release of Drake's "Nothing Was the Same" album, he dominated summer radio play with the singles "Started From the Bottom" and "Hold On, We're Going Home".

Yesterday, Drake kicked off the month of June by releasing a new track, "0 to 100/The Catch Up", via his October's Very Own website.

The song, which, following "Days in the East" and "Draft Day", is the third song Drake has released in recent months, is divided into two very different parts. The first segment is more upbeat, reminiscent of "Started From the Bottom". From there, he finishes the song by rapping over a mellow beat that features a sample from James Blake, who is no stranger to hip hop collaborations.

As for when we can expect Drake's next album, he references it in the lyrics to his latest work: Spring 2015, the same time Majid Jorden, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and OB O'Brien, members of his OVO music label, are set to drop their albums.
