'Days of our Lives' weekly recap - 6/23-6/27

Sami continued to make preparations for the wedding and her revenge, Abigail became increasingly uncomfortable, Jennifer learned Eve's true intentions, Daniel was shocked at Nicole, Hope wanted to know about Aiden's late wife, Marlena was jealous of Roman and Giselle, Kate got a tip about Jordan in the Ozarks, Rafe and Jordan tried again, Theresa confided in Anne about her need for Brady

EJ called Abe to the Dimera mansion to officiate his wedding to Sami. Sami arrived and listened as it would be a surprise to her. She hinted about a few surprises she had for him and Abigail. Sami greeted Abe, and he agreed to be there for the two of them. EJ thanked his brother-in-law for setting aside his feelings for him.

Abigail stressed about all the work she had to do for the wedding at Club TBD. Tad appeared and began to tease her about having feelings for Ben. He also hinted that she wouldn't want to get on Sami's bad side. He questioned her reaction when he commented on EJ being a decent guy. Abigail quipped that she just wanted the wedding to end already. She met up with Sami at the square to inform her that she had no problem planning the wedding. Sami gave her a chance to back out as maid of honor, but Abigail refused. Things got awkward when Sami went on about how wonderful EJ was. Abigail agreed to do a reading at the wedding.

Ben and Jordan talked at the park about Rafe. Ben stated Rafe being a jerk, while Jordan tried to look at the bright side; they could finally leave their past in the past. They argued about their safety in Salem with Ben offering to help Jordan not give up on Rafe.

Kate and Rafe spoke about Jordan at the Brady Pub. She told him to stop punishing himself for what Gabi did. He kept saying if he only knew what was going on, he could've prevented things from going too far with Nick. "That's not true," Kate stated. EJ later arrived to brag about his wedding being moved up and hoped Rafe could attend. Rafe said it was unlikely and Sami would see him for the kind of man he really is.

Paige gushed about her being home to Jennifer at the Horton house. They spoke about her travels, which Jennifer was impressed about. When Paige is summoned home, Jennifer invited her to bring her mom for dinner. Jennifer believed she would have a new friend.

Eve and JJ had a discussion about his music in her house. She asked about his last name, but got a call before he could answer. He left and wondered how she would feel about him if she found out about his past. Paige got home, and Eve told her she met JJ. Paige was upset, stating she wanted to warn her mother about some things. Eve became a concerned parent when she mentioned JJ "stoner rock 'n' roll scene" attitude. Paige begged her mother to keep an open mind. While Eve pondered what to wear, Paige accidentally let it slip JJ's last name was Deveraux. Eve was shocked.

Kate wanted to speak with Jordan at the hospital. She informed her that Rafe still felt bad about what happened to Gabi. They both cared about his well-being. Jordan wondered why she was here, and Kate snapped that Rafe needed her. She wanted Jordan to help him through his crisis.

JJ returned home, and Jennifer said that Paige was there earlier. He told her about meeting Paige's mom. He struggled to give his opinion of her as he flashed back to her getting dressed. He continued to worry about his criminal record, but Jennifer calmed him down.

Ben went back to Club TBD where Tad said Abigail was with Sami. Jordan caught up with Rafe, who was calling in favors about Gabi. Kate reminded Sami to be careful with how she pursued her plan. Sami reassured her they will get what they want. Abigail fell off a ladder after hanging lights for the wedding. EJ caught her in his arms.

Abigail freaked out after EJ caught her. She attempted to run out of the mansion, but was stopped by Will and Sonny's arrival. Abigail left and told Will she could not be Sami's maid of honor. Will believed she would be a good friend to his mother, even though it still felt weird to him. Abigail agreed to help. Sonny, EJ, and Will discussed Abigail's role in the wedding leading to EJ asking Will to be his best man. After saying he's loved his mother for eight years, Will agreed to stand up for him at the ceremony.

Sami and Kate continued to discuss their plans for EJ and Stefano in the park. Kate laughed when Sami told her Abigail will be her maid of honor. She reminded Sami that Stefano is in love with her, and she had experience dealing with him. Jordan Ridgeway is brought up, and Sami said her plan will have to wait. Kate bragged that she could multitask and worried Sami would return to Rafe after her plan was over. Sami reminded her she was marrying EJ. "Yes, for revenge," Kate replied. They agreed not to see each other until the wedding was offer. Kate wished she could be there for the ceremony.

Jennifer wanted to know Paige's mom's name, but got a work call. She reassured her son that things would be fine. Abigail arrived home and informed her mother and brother about her role in Sami's wedding. JJ seemed hurt that she would miss his graduation from high school. JJ brought up Chad, and how she was supposed to attend his brother's wedding. Abigail couldn't let Sami down, which Jennifer was proud of. She left before the dinner started.

Paige learned that Eve knew JJ's parents from the last time she was in Salem. Eve let her know they were from different crowds, but Paige started to see her mom act differently. Paige offered her mother to not go, but Eve wanted to. They talked about Jack's book, and Eve made a comparison about JJ being like his father. Paige defended her boyfriend. They left for the dinner with Eve wanting her appearance to be a surprise.

Rafe and Jordan talked outside the pub about their relationship. Jordan said he didn't have to worry about her, and he was reminded of Gabi. He wanted to know everything about her past including why she was running scared. Jordan felt love but agonized that she couldn't tell him anything. Rafe said they couldn't move forward with their relationship. Kate stood by and listened.

Will told Sami to lighten up on Abigail. She started to crack while playing with Arianna. EJ warned Abigail they could not have another close moment again. Paige tried to warm JJ about her mom, but Jennifer got a surprise when it turned out Paige's mom was Eve.

Jennifer tried to get rid of Eve, until Paige announced she was her mother. The two women spoke as the kids went to get drinks for everyone. Jennifer checked on dinner, while Eve appeared to be in a friendly mood. As dinner was not ready, Jennifer sent the kids out to eat, so she could clear the air about Frankie with Eve. She seemed sincere about her apology toward Jennifer for driving Frankie away and causing problems for her and Jack. They agreed to leave the past behind them, but Eve couldn't as she had business concerning Jack to take care of.

EJ and Abigail continued their conversation in the park. He informed her their lives would be ruined if Sami uncovered the truth about their affair. Abigail was trying to move on and told EJ about Ben. She's worried about what he'll think of her if the truth ever did come out. Meanwhile, Ben got a tip from a friend that Abigail was in the park.

Brady confided in Maggie at the Kiriakis mansion about his addiction. He's scared of what he had become. Maggie suggested he go to a meeting for support.

Theresa and Anne met at the Brady Pub to discuss Daniel and Jennifer. She mentioned Eve, who she described as a total b****. She also spoke about Brady and John, who she saw at the bar. John referred to her as an enabler, and she was only making Brady's substance abuse problems worse. Once he left, Theresa contacted Brady.

Abe informed Marlena about officiating Sami and EJ's wedding. She was stunned that the wedding was so soon and wished she could be happy for her daughter.

EJ and Ben finally met and invited Ben as Abigail's date to the wedding. She became increasingly uncomfortable. Ben said he would go because he didn't trust EJ. Abigail was shocked at his opinion, but Ben stated he's a good judgement of character.

Paige and JJ are eating at Club TBD when JJ remembered Eve's picture from Jennifer's yearbook. He exclaimed their mothers were rivals.

EJ ran into Marlena, who told him about the wedding. He wanted her to come and support her daughter. She said it would be hypocritical to attend, which is why Roman wouldn't be attending either. Marlena felt Sami and EJ brought out the worst in each other.

While at his meeting, Brady ignored Theresa's message.

Eve gushed about Jack's work, even though she wasn't in it. Jennifer reminded her they were only married two minutes so she and Jack could have access to Nick Corelli's money. Eve served Jennifer her annulment papers with Jack saying she was entitled to half his earnings from long-term projects including his book. Jennifer said the earnings were going to veterans, but Eve wanted her half of the money. Jennifer was stunned that eve hadn't changed. "You're still a conniving witch."

Rafe and Abe discussed Sami and EJ's wedding at the park. Abe said he was officiating their ceremony, which made Rafe think of his vow renewal to Sami. Abe apologized and commented that he and Jordan made a good couple.

Ben blamed himself for ruining Jordan's relationship with Rafe. He suggested that she tell Rafe everything that's going on, but Jordan wanted to protect her brother.

Paige and JJ fought at the club about their mothers, while Rory and Bev arrived to watch. Rory wanted JJ to ditch his girlfriend to hang out with them, but he refused. JJ thanked Paige for saving him from his former friends and apologized.

John overheard Maggie leave Brady a message about his meeting. He was surprised his son was finally getting the help he needed. Maggie said she can't divulge anything as she is his sponsor. It didn't stop John from being happy.

Brady agreed to attend the next meeting after they discussed how to get rid of negative factors for a positive recovery.

Theresa and Anne were still at the pub where she hoped to have a future with Brady. Anne dismissed her after the horrible things she's done to certain people in town. John gloated about Brady going to a meeting. Brady overheard his father cut Theresa down and yelled for him to stay away from his girlfriend. He said the meetings weren't for him, and he walked out with Theresa who gloated at John.

Kate was on the phone to Ortiz who informed her of a lead. She approached Jordan about talking to Rafe again. Jordan just wanted Kate to stay out of her life, but she got her to try harder.

Rafe jogged through the park when Ben caught up with him. He wanted him to give his sister another chance because she was just trying to protect her brother. Rafe and Jordan later met and agreed to give their relationship another try.

Eve laid on a sob story, which made Jennifer yell at her. The kids walked in to witness it. Eve dragged Paige off for frozen yogurt and told her her side of the story. She wanted her daughter to stay away from JJ for the time being. Jennifer asked JJ to do the same. Her opinion of Paige hasn't changed though.

Kate and Maggie traded remarks about her firing at Mad World. Ortiz called and told Kate to get on the next plane to the Ozarks. Brady drank at Theresa's and mumbled about hating his father. Theresa decided to use this to her advantage.

Sami freaked when Kate told her she was out of town. Kate reminded her to stay calm or EJ and Abby would be on to them. Sami spotted Abby and Ben and pulled on a forced smile to greet the two of them. She let it slip about Chad and filled Ben in on what happened with him and Abigail.

Rafe and Jordan professed their love to each other after they woke up together in bed. He got a call before she could tell him anything important.

Aiden and Hope discussed the gala at the pub while Ciara and Chase played together. Giselle arrived with five paintings and three sculptures to offer for the auction. Roman arrived, and Giselle was by his side. Hope was happy to see this.

Eric saw Bishop White about everyone helping to clear his name. Nicole has not been so helpful, but Eric was at peace with her decision.

Daniel and Marlena spoke at Club TBD about Nicole refusing to help Eric. He spotted her at the bar and called her selfish. They argued about her changing as she was not the same woman who went after Dr. Chyka.

Kate met with Ortiz in the Ozarks and spoke about a guy who recognized Ben's picture. The same guy showed up, and Kate offered him money for information. He left as Kate became flustered. Another man showed up, asking to see the picture of Jordan. "It's been a long time," he stated.

Marlena witnessed Giselle and Roman's flirtations at the pub and became jealous. Hope ran to Club TBD for coffee after the machine was on the fritz. She told Aiden to keep an eye on everyone. Giselle was upset that Marlena took Roman aside, so Eric made sure to get his mother away from him. Giselle continued to gush over Roman, while Ciara got cookies for her and Chase. He was reminded of his mother, and Hope offered her condolences. She wanted to know what his mother was like.

Sami went into her father's office to leave a note about the wedding. She went into a fit of rage after thinking of EJ and Abby kissing. Rafe entered and talked to her about how no one would be coming to the wedding because of the man she was marrying. She spared him a lecture and left to get ready for the wedding.

Hope questioned why Daniel and Jennifer weren't together at Club TBD. Nicole overheard their conversation. Hope didn't believe it was over with them and left. Nicole approached Daniel and apologized for breaking up his relationship. He doesn't acknowledge her; he needed to see the bishop.

Jordan told Ben she was ready to come clean to Rafe about everything. Nicole eavesdropped on Eric and Marlena discussing her jealousy of Roman. Marlena mentioned Nicole, but Eric said it was out of his hands.

Daniel visited Bishop White. As he was about to leave, he bumped into Nicole.
