Damon Lidelof’s ‘The Leftovers’ will premiere on HBO

HBO fans are preparing for The Leftovers, the new drama about a lost population.

"They have to find a way to come together, but some people are going to be able to achieve that - and others aren't," says Damon Lindelof, according to the Associated Press.

The Leftovers were co-created by Lindelof and Tom Perrotta. The Leftovers is a bit different with the thriller, Lost, a show that deals with the people on a remote tropical island after the crash of the Oceanic Airlines Flight 815.

The Leftovers is a ten episode series deals with local people who have experienced an extraordinary amount of grief.

According to HBO’s official website, the citizens deal with the anger and the grief as they struggle with the disappearance of over 2% of the population. The cast includes Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Chris Eccleston, Carrie Coon, Liv Tyler and Michael Gaston.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were seen at the opening night event. Theroux appeared in blue suit with a crisp, white shirt.

The Leftovers, HBO’s new drama, premieres on Sunday at 10PM.
