Actors Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Chris Evans and Kat Dennings are celebrating their birthdays today.

Actresses, fashion designers and fraternal twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen turn 28 today. The Olsens made their acting debut playing Michelle Tanner on the television series Full House. At the age of six, they began starring together in TV, film, and video projects including Double, Double, Toil and Trouble, How the West Was Fun, and a series of musical mystery videos called The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley. In 1995, the Olsens made their feature film debut in It Takes Two, co-starring Steve Guttenberg and Kirstie Alley, and in the same year, they introduced a second video series, You're Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley's....

In 1998, the twins returned to series television with the ABC sitcom Two of a Kind. The show lasted one season but aired on cable for several years after. They went on to appear in the television shows Sister, Sister and 7th Heaven. In 2001, they went on to star in the FOX Family/ABC Family sitcom So Little Time, as well as the animated television series Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!. They also set out more films in their teenage years including Our Lips Are Sealed, Winning London, Holiday in the Sun, The Challenge and New York Minute.

The Olsens had a clothing line for girls ages 4–14 in Wal-Mart stores across North America, as well as a beauty line called "Mary-Kate and Ashley: Real fashion for real girls." The Olsens have also launched their own couture fashion label, "The Row", named after Savile Row in London. In 2007, they launched Elizabeth & James, a contemporary collection. They have also released a women's clothing line for J.C. Penney, called Olsenboye, and a t-shirt line called "StyleMint." In August 2013, the twins launched a new fashion line in Oslo, Norway.

Mary-Kate Olsen is currently engaged to Olivier Sarkozy, the half brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Chris Evans, 33

Actor and director Chris Evans turns 33 today. Evans made his film debut in The Newcomers, but received great recognition for his role in Not Another Teen Movie. He went on to star in The Perfect Score, Cellular, Fierce People and London. In 2005, He played the Human Torch in Fantastic Four, and reprised the role in the 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. In 2008, Evans appeared in Street Kings and the Tennessee Williams screenplay adaptation The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. The following year he appeared in the science-fiction thriller Push, with Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle. Evans' other filmography include Puncture, The Losers and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, What's Your Number?, The Iceman

In 2011, Evans played the Marvel Comics' Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger, and had signed on to appear in multiple films as Captain America, and first reprised the role in the 2012 film The Avengers, then for the 2014 blockbuster Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Evans will make his directorial debut with 1:30 Train, and will star in Avengers: Age of Ultron and the third Captain America film.

Kat Dennings, 28

Actress Kat Dennings turns 28 today. At the age of 10, Dennings started appearing in commercials. She made her professional debut in HBO's Sex and the City in 2000. She went on to star in the television series Raising Dad, and made appearances in Without a Trace, Less Than Perfect, ER and CSI: NY.

Dennings made her film debut in the 2004 film Raise Your Voice. She went on to appear in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Down in the Valley, Big Momma's House 2, Charlie Bartlett and The House Bunny. Dennings' breakout tole was in the teen romantic comedy, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.

Dennings went on to star in the Marvel Studios film Thor, and reprised her role for the sequel, Thor: The Dark World. Dennings currently plays Max Black in the CBS comedy series 2 Broke Girls.
