Bret Michaels thanks fans after medical scare during New Hampshire concert

Bret Michaels gives kind words to fans after cancelling a show following a New Hampshire concert last week.

He cancelled a performance, but wrote a note to his fans. He thanked not only fans, but also his friends and medical staff for their help. The rocker was scheduled to perform in Wikes-Barre, PA, but had to cancel a show due to his illness.

Michaels fell ill after his recent concert. His show on Thursday was in Manchester, N.H. His medical team said that he had dehydration and the flu. Michaels also suffers from diabetes. He remained under medical supervision, according to the NY Daily News.

He is continuing on with some of his regular activities, including supporting causes that are important to him. He contributed $10,000 to a leading charity, and posted on Twitter.

On Tuesday, Michael apologized on his website, for his “pale white face” before visiting his fans.

Michael, 51, is also always glad to give a shout out to fans that have supported his work since he skyrocketed into the music stratosphere. Michaels was the lead singer of the glam band, Poison. With Poison, he charted ten singles to the Top 40. Their albums include Power to the People.
