The upcoming Titanic musical will not be starting shows in the fall. Instead the musical will making some course corrections before it is shown to a live audience.
The New York Times reported that producers of the upcoming stage show explained that "the lack of the availability of a Broadway house" was the reason behind postponing the show.
This Broadway musical brings to life the story of the most famous ship in the world. The show has a score that was created and written by Maury Yeston. The show tells the story of that fateful night from all perspectives including first-class, second-class and steerage passengers. The Titanic hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean when it was headed to the United States, hundreds of people on the show lost their lives.
This is not the first time this show has been performed on Broadway. It won Tony Awards in 1997 for best musical, best score, best sets and book of a musical. During it's prime the show was run over 800 times for sold out audiences, Billboard added.
