Lily Allen admits turning down ‘Game of Thrones’ role with brother Alfie Allen

Recording artist Lilly Allen confessed to fans Tuesday that she almost accepted an acting role alongside brother Alfie Allen in the hit HBO Show Game of Thrones, but ultimately refused.

During an Ask Me Anything segment for Reddit, the 29 year-old singer revealed she was asked to play Yara Greyjoy, the on screen sister of Alfie’s character Theon Greyjoy. Allen declined the part after learning about an intimate scene between the two siblings.
She tells Reddit, “I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s***...Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks. I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though."
According to Daily Mail, the role of Yara was landed by actress Gemma Whelan, and the Icelandic group Sigur Ros made a cameo appearance on the show earlier this season. Meanwhile, the English songstress has decided to rededicate herself to music.
Last year she released “Hard Out Here,” her first single since 2009. Billboard reports her newest album Sheezus,/i> came out last week on May 6.
