Last Pennsylvania stabbing victim released from hospital

After over a month of treatment, the last victim of the Pittsburgh school stabbing was released from the hospital.

Greg Keener, who along with 20 others was injured during the stabbing, was released after 38 days of hospital treatments that included several surgeries, a few of which followed with complications. Horbes Hospital President and CEO Reese Jackson told The Associated Press that the hospital has an emotional attachment to all the victims and their families, and that the fact that they all survived was cause for “tremendous” joy.

As reported by Fox News, the 15-year-old had been transferred out of the intensive care unit earlier in the week. His sister, Rachel Keener, who had been sharing his progress through Twitter, shared the good news with her followers, calling herself “the happiest sister in the world.”
