Jennifer Lopez’s World Cup song is not being received very well

Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have teamed up for a World Cup theme song that does not seem to be winning over any fans as of right now. The two stars are known for making chart toping songs and have done collaborations in the past.

Many fans are complaining that the song is mostly composed in English and Spanish. Not leaving that much room for Portuguese translation. Since the release of FIFA's We Are One (Ole Ola), many fans in Brazil have been slamming the official 2014 Cup theme, according to Fox News Latino.

Jenny from the block has come a long way from being one of The Fly Girls on the 1990s hit show In Living Color. She hast performed hit songs all across the world, has stared in films, and has even hosted the hit television show American Idol.

However this recent World Cup theme song does not seem to be her best moment. Lopez is no stranger to criticism. Being in the spotlight having critics comes with the territory.

"What I don't like about the music is that it's a poor, dull, generic pop theme. It's a shame considering Brazil's rich musical tradition, which is admired all over the world," said Gaia Passarelli, a Brazilian music journalist and a former VJ for MTV Brazil, reported by CTV News.
