Celebrities from Joan Rivers to Jessica Biel are using social media including Instagram and Twitter to show their moms love and appreciation.

Miley Cyrus posted a throwback picture and mom, Tish Cyrus, and herself. The 21-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day Momma” and tagged her mom in the photo.

Mother-of-two Gwyneth Paltrow posted a picture of herself getting kisses from her kids with the caption, “Feelin’ the love today #luckymama.”

Jessica Alba spent her Mother’s Day with her two daughters Haven and Honor and her mother Cathy. Her Instagram photo said, “#mothersday w my #mommy #cathyalba.”

However, celebrities like Justin Timberlake opted to tweet their appreciation to their mothers.

According to E! News, Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel also posted a picture with her mom. She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there… Especially mine whose laughter is like sunshine. I love you!”

Judd Apatow paid tribute to his late mother:
