Breckin Meyer, 40
Actor, comedian, writer, producer, and drummer Breckin Meyer turns 40 today. Meyer started his career by playing druggies in films including Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Clueless, The Craft and Escape from L.A.. Other notable roles include Road Trip, Rat Race, Kate & Leopold and Garfield.
Meyer regularly does voice work on Robot Chicken, and was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on Robot Chicken: Star Wars.
Meyer plays the drums for the bands The Street Walkin' Cheetahs and with Tom Morello's The Nightwatchman.
Meyer currently plays Jared Franklin on TNT's Franklin & Bash. He is also the creator and writer of the TBS comedy Men at Work.
Sydney Leroux, 24
Canadian-born American professional soccer player Sydney Leroux turns 24 today. Leroux currently plays forward for the Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League. After playing for Canada throughout her youth, she went on to the United States women's national under-20 soccer team in 2008, and joined the U.S. senior national team in 2012. That same year, Leroux set a new team scoring record as a reserve on the team with 12 goals scored off the bench in one year.
Leroux was part of the Americans' winning squad at the 2012 London Olympics.
Leroux holds dual citizenship in Canada and the U.S. She was featured in numerous advertisements for Nike, along with teammate Alex Morgan.
