Rapper Pusha T and actors Miranda Cosgrove and Cate Blanchett are celebrating their birthdays today.
Pusha T, 36
Hip-Hop artist Pusha T turns 36 today. Born, Terrence Thornton, Pusha T started his career as one half of hip hop duo Clipse, alongside his brother Gene "No Malice" Thornton. The two created Re-Up Records. In September 2010, Thornton signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music label. He released his solo mixtape, Fear of God in March 2011.
Pusha T released his debut EP, Fear of God II: Let Us Pray, which featured the songs "Trouble On My Mind" featuring Tyler, The Creator and "Amen." Pusha T appeared on the second season of HBO's How To Make It in America.
He released his debut album, My Name Is My Name, in October 2013, and featured production from The Neptunes, Ryan Leslie, Bangladesh and Alex da Kid. The album featured appearances from Rick Ross, Kelly Rowland, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Future, Pharrell and others.

Miranda Cosgrove, 21
Actress and singer Miranda Cosgrove turns 21 today. At age 3, Cosgrove began appearing in television commercials. In 2003, she made her film debut in School of Rock. She had minor television appearances in Smallville, Grounded for Life and What's New, Scooby-Doo?, before rising to fame with her role of Megan Parker in Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh.
In 2007, Cosgrove landed the lead role of Carly Shay on Nickelodeon's iCarly. The series lasted for 7 seasons and she earned two Young Artist Awards. Cosgrove appeared in the films Yours, Mine and Ours and Keeping Up with the Steins, and provided her voice for Margo in Despicable Me and its sequel.
Cosgrove currently attends the University of Southern California. In a interview with Larry King in 2012, Cosgrove stated that she would be majoring in film.

Film and theater actress Cate Blanchett turns 45 today. The Australian actress gained international success for her role as Elizabeth I of England in the 1998 film Elizabeth. She won the British Academy Award for Best Actress (BAFTA) and a Golden Globe award, and earned her first Academy Award nomination for her role. She went on to star in many critically acclaimed films including The Aviator, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Babel, I'm Not There and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
In 2013, Blanchett starred in Blue Jasmine, and won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Blanchett has also had a successful career in theater, starring in Plenty, Hedda Gabler, A Streetcar Named Desire, Uncle Vanya and The Maids. From 2007 to 2012, Blanchett served as artistic director for the Sydney Theatre Company.
Blanchett is married to Playwright and screenwriter, Andrew Upton, and have three sons together.
