A fight broke out on Tuesday after a high school graduation ceremony held at Towson University.
According to WBAL, two adults, a 24-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, were caught on video fighting after the Randallstown High graduation concluded. Police said that the two were arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
WJZ noted that authorities do not know what caused the fight, but said that the video shows other men and women throwing punches.
Local reports have said that some of those fighting are students.
If the school district determines that current students are involved they said that disciplinary action will be taken against them.
The school’s principal, John Ward, was embarrassed and disappointed by what happened, but would rather focus on the positive like the school’s high-graduation rate.
"I wanted to emphasize all the great stuff that we do here at Randallstown and I made it very clear that this incident is 30 seconds of nothing and does not define who Randallstown is," Ward said.
