Anne Hathaway takes ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ campaign to streets of L.A. (Video)

On Friday with a megaphone in hand, actress Anne Hathaway took to the streets of Los Angeles to rally support for the 300 plus Nigerian school girls taken by the terrorist group Boko Haram in mid-April.

Daily Mail caught the 31 year old actress demonstrating the cause on video with a group of supporters, including husband Adam Shulman. Wearing an African-themed scarf and handbag, Hathaway touted a mega phone in one hand, and a heart shaped “Bring Back Our Girls” sign in the other.
In the video she proclaims, “These Nigerian girls are part of the five percent of girls that are able to seek an education. They were taken from their beds in the middle of the night by cowards. Cowards that will tell them that girls do not deserve an education. Do we agree with these cowards?”
To which the crowd responds “No!”
According to Daily News, the #BringBackOurGirls campaign on Twitter has gained an array of support from various celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Jessica Biel, Amy Poehler, Alicia Keys, and first lady Michelle Obama.
Jolie commented, “it kind of goes beyond understanding that somebody could do this."
