The armadillo that is a mascot for country music legend went missing. This time, the stuffed armadillo was taken from a Las Vegas show.
According to the Daily News, Nelson and his band were playing at the Westin Las Vegas when their mascot disappeared. The armadillo, nicknamed, ‘Ol Dillo, disappeared at the concert on Monday while Nelson was meeting with his fans.
This isn’t the first time the armadillo has gone missing. Another mention of the armadillo being missing happened back in September, when a crew member said that the item was taken right from the stage. The armadillo was safely returned within a few days.
Members of Nelson’s band discovered that the armadillo had gone missing again while they were on the road. Westin marketing director was asked to look at the surveillance video to see if ‘Ol Dillo could be recovered. On Tuesday morning, Boland sad a man handed him a shoebox with the armadillo and instructions to give the armadillo back to Nelson. Boland sent the armadillo back to the country music star in California.
