It’s pretty difficult to keep a secret in Hollywood. Celebrities are being “outed” left and right, not to mention the numerous DUI incidents that occur that a celebrity tries desperately to keep under wraps so their careers don’t suffer. Yet, there are those rare instances, such as secret celebrity weddings, where the location and guest lists aren’t leaked and hoards of paparazzi don’t crash the event so that the two people can to affirm their love amongst friends and loved ones in a private special ceremony without Hollywood hoopla! It doesn’t happen often, but there have been celebrity couples who have managed to tie the knot under Hollywood’s radar. Heck, the fact that some of these pairs were even dating was yet another secret and pulling off two major secrets in Hollywood is a feat unto itself! So, here are 10 couples who managed to keep their nuptials (and in some cases, even their courtship) a secret from Hollywood, at least for a little while.

10. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren:

Valentine’s Day actress Jessica Alba married longtime boyfriend Cash Warren in a quick, informal ceremony at the Beverly Hills courthouse in May of 2008, successfully evading the prying eyes of the paparazzi. The couple didn’t even invite friends or family to be a part of the big day and the Fantastic Four actress welcomed the couple’s first child, a baby girl named Honor, a few months later.

9. Tina Turner and Erwin Bach:

Singing icon Tina Turner’s 27-year relationship with record executive Erwin Bach was no secret, but their ultra-private wedding in Switzerland certainly was! The pair tied the knot in small civil ceremony at Lake Zurich in July 2013.

8. Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll:

On her third walk down the aisle, Titanic star Kate Winslet proved that her heart really did go on. She married Ned Rocknroll, the nephew of billionaire Richard Branson, in December 2012. According to Winslet's rep, "[The wedding] was attended by her two children and a very few friends and family." The happy couple welcomed their first child, a boy they named Bear Winslet in December 2013.

7. David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman:

Friends star David Schwimmer was married to British photographer Zoe Buckman for four months before anyone found out their union. They met in 2007 and were wed in a private ceremony in June of 2010, attempting to keep the union a secret from the press for as long as possible. They welcomed their first child, baby girl they named, Cleo, on May 8, 2011.

6. Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig:

Following a Hollywood under-the-radar courtship, the latest James Bond, Daniel Craig and Runaway Jury actress Rachel Weisz threw a secret wedding in June of 2011. The secret nuptials had only had four guests: Craig's daughter Ella, Weisz's son Henry and two close friends.

5. Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz:

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides actress Penelope Cruz and Eat Pray Love actor Javier Bardem are rarely photographed together, so it was no surprise that they wanted to wed in secret in July of 2010. The two Academy Award winners exchanged vows at a friend's private home in the Bahamas without no cameras present. Their marriage remained a secret for just under a month before their secret was revealed. The couple have two children together, Leonardo and Luna Bardem.

4. Beyonce and Jay-Z:

Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot in a uber-private ceremony in April of 2008 at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment, surrounded only by only family and close friends. Cameras were barred in order to prevent a press leak and Beyonce’s fans didn’t even get a glimpse of her stunning wedding dress until 2011, when the singer showed off the gown in the music video for her song "I Was Here.”

3. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner:

Good Will Hunting actor and Academy Award winner Ben Affleck and 13 Going on 30 actress Jennifer Garner decided to go low-key for their undercover 2005 wedding. The pair fled to the island of Turks and Caicos for the ceremony, which was officiated by Garner’s Alias co-star Victor Garber. Affleck's pal, director Kevin Smith, told People, "They didn't need or want a crowd. They just wanted each other.”

2. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds:

Fans were stunned to learn that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who co-starred together in the 2011 science fiction adventure Green Lantern had wed in a top-secret ceremony in South Carolina on September 9, 2012. According to People,, Florence + the Machine’s lead singer Florence Welch performed at the reception, which was held just outside of Charleston at Boone Hall Plantation. Talk about secretive, most of Hollywood didn’t even know the pair were even dating!

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant Stacy Keibler and tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre tied the knot on March 8 in Punta Mita, Mexico. The wedding was a shock to family and friends, who thought they were on their way to a vacation in Mexico. "My happiness is indescribable!" Keibler told People. The couple have known each other for years, but only started dating for five months and their whirlwind romance happened shortly after Keibler split up with Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney.
