Academy Award winners Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are reportedly reuniting once again to work on another big film. Spielberg and Hanks are best known for their works together of which include Saving Private Ryan, (in which Spielberg won the Oscar for Best Director) and Catch Me If You Can.
The Hollywood Reporter stated that the film would be a Cold War thriller telling the true story of a attorney named James Donovan who was heavily involved in the Cold War regarding U-2 spy plane pilot, Gary Powers.
The Daily News reports that if the actor and director do in fact come together to work on the film, it will be their fourth large scale movie they have worked on together. Not only have they worked on films together, both of them co-produced the HBO mini-series The Pacific and Band of Brothers.
Anything directed by Spielberg and starring Hanks is an idyllic pairing and is bound to be great and hopefully both stars will sign on to the project.
