Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to reunite for a comedy film

Former Saturday Night Live stars and America’s favorite comedic women, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are joining each other on the big screen once more for a, you guessed it, new comedy flick.

According to, Showbiz411, the comedy written by Paula Pell will be titled “The Nest” and will follow two sisters in their thirties who decide to sell their parents home and go out with a bang—what bigger bang than to throw a raging party?

In the midst of their planning and selling the house, the sisters become closer through fighting, bonding and ultimately growing up.

In February, it was confirmed that Tina Fey would join the project as an actor and producer. Jason Moore, known for his participation in Pitch Perfect, will direct.

Currently, Poehler is almost finished negotiations concerning the comedy movie and once its official, she could very well be the executive producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter

The two leading ladies in comedy have an electric connection on screen as the public has seen on Saturday Night Live, Baby Momma and most recently, as they hosted the 2013 Golden Globes.
