Teen accepted to all eight Ivy League schools makes decision

The Long Island student who accomplished quite a feat by getting accepted to all eight Ivy League universities, has decided to attend … Yale.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Kwasi Enin announced his decision Wednesday afternoon at a press conference at William Floyd High School.

“I'm excited and proud to announce that this fall I will become a member of the Yale class of 2018,” he said

The 17-year-old senior, who scored in the 99th percentile on his SATs, previously said that he applied to all eight schools to increase his chances of getting into at least one.

WABC noted that he had a little family competition since some of his uncles and cousins were accepted to several of the universities.

However, instead of only one acceptance, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale, all accepted him.

Enin thanked his parents for helping him achieve his dreams and said he hopes to become a physician.
