Snoop Dogg does a voiceover for 'Call of Duty: Ghosts'

Obsessive video gamers spend hours in front of their gaming consoles and televisions making friends, or enemies, with people across the world. In the newest edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts, surprise voiceovers will take all gamers by surprise—famous rapper, Snoop Dog, spits out random catch phrases and one liners throughout gameplay on a new voice pack.

"What interests me most about the project is my voice can be connected with a game that's so hip and so hood," Snoop says in a behind the scenes video. "It says a lot; it's associated with greatness."

The writers aided the rapper with a large portion of his dialogue, but Snoop was able to put his personal flavor into the game by adding a few messages of own, including “Yeah, crizzay,” reports Rolling Stone.

The voiceover add-on will cost users $2.99 in order to receive orders and comical tips from the rapper, according to CNET. X Box Live will be able to use this feature starting April 22nd.

Aside from the video game voice-overs, Snoop Dogg has a busy schedule ahead of him. He’ll headline the May 31st Roots Picnic, and in celebration of the rappers favorite holiday, 4/20, Snoop will team up with Wiz Khalifa and put on a show for two “wellness retreat” concerts in Colorado and Washington—no rumor of coincidence there.

The duo will play on April 19th at the WaMu Theatre in Seattle as well as April 20th in Denver’s Red Rock Theater.
