Selena Gomez unfollows everyone on Instagram

Selena Gomez has been expressing her emotions through her Instagram account and apparently, she’s been feeling pretty down. She has unfollowed all her famous friends, and has been posting some very puzzling messages.

MTV has reported that Gomez unfollowed pals Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as Taylor Swift and on-again-off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. She started off slowly deleting her friends, but is now following zero people on the social media site.

Not only has Gomez unfollowed the Jenner girls, who she just spent, what looked like, an awesome weekend with, but she’s also removed all the pictures featuring Kendall and Kylie. The photos of the girls with Gomez on their own accounts have not been removed, though.

According to E! News, Gomez has been posting some depressing pictures of quotes and lyrics as well. In one selfie, Gomez rocked some very heavy black eyeliner, and her hair covering half of her face. The caption read, “I go back to, black,” which is an Amy Winehouse lyric.

Gomez also posted a shot of a review of Mary J. Blige’s 2007 Growing Pains album with the lyrics to the song “Work in Progress.” The review was about Blige and how she was clearly unhappy, insecure and trying to recover. It read a lyric, “I got every material thing I could ever need/I got the love from my fans that adore me/And I’m grateful/But my love for myself is lacking a little bit/I have to admit that I’m working on me.”

Selena did recently check into rehab for what seemed to be a broken heart, and she has parted ways professionally with her mom and stepfather who were her managers. But she has also been spotted having a great time at Coachella, where she was even back stage while Bieber performed with Chance the Rapper. Insiders reported that the two “seemed content” and “were having a good time in each other’s company,” so it’s unclear what’s causing Gomez to seem so upset on Instagram.
