Actress Olivia Munn shows off her natural beauty on the cover of Allure Magazine’s 2014 May issue and is not afraid to show she’s just an average woman.
According to E! News, the 33-year-old told Allure she cannot stand it when people claim they can eat whatever they want and still be thin.
"I remember reading these articles when I was younger, and I just felt like, well, in order to look like that, you have to have some secret, magical unicorn blood that makes carbs disappear as they go into your body. I prefer the truth," she said.
Mann, who plays financial reporter, Sloan Sabbith, in The Newsroom, isn’t afraid to express her thoughts on how her character should act or dress.
"What I really love to do for a role is make the woman unapologetic for who she is," she said. "They wanted to put me in a turtleneck, and I said no. They're like, 'We want people to take her seriously,' and I said, 'People will take her seriously because of her brain. It's not her problem what somebody sees when they look at her.'"
The actress was recently spotted at the 2014 WonderCon, according to the Huffington Post, wearing minimal makeup and a cute black romper in support for her new movie, Deliver Us from Evil.
Hear what else she had to say in the new issue of Allure on newsstands April 29.
