Miley Cyrus dedicated a song to her late dog Floyd at Boston performance

Miley Cyrus was not her usual energetic self at last night’s Bangerz performance at the TD Garden in Boston due to the loss of her Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd.

Cyrus, released the news that one of her five dogs had passed via her Twitter account, yesterday, according to Twitter.

Before last nights performance Cyrus warned her fans that they may not experience the familiar quirky personality that has skyrocketed her to singing career.

The “We Can’t Stop” singer dedicated her rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” to her passed canine family member, stated E! Online.

E! Online reported a choked up Cyrus explained to her fans at the Boston show why she was distraught:

“It's gonna be hard for me on this next song. I'm not sounding myself, I don't feel myself. But I just wanna do one song,” Miley said.

"I'm sure you guys already know, but the reason that I'm so upset is my dog, I shouldn't say he was my favorite but he was my favorite, he passed away. I just wanna do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together, it's his favorite song…so I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is “Landslide”.”
