It’s a known fact that Jay Z and Beyoncé are the power couple of hip-hop and over the past year they have been surprising us with they’re talent more and more often. Yesterday, at day two of Coachella, the two separately made surprise appearances on stage.
Two lucky audiences were honored with the presence of none other than Jay Z and Beyoncé. According to TMZ, Beyoncé made her way onto one stage during her little sister, Soalnge’s, set. She may not have sung anything, but she showed us those dance moves we all can’t help but be obsessed with, and won the crowd over. She graced the crowd with a choreographed dance to Soalnge’s final song, “Losing You.” The two rocked huge hairdos and seemed extremely happy to be performing together.
Hubby Jay Z got up on stage along with Nas and the two rapped, despite their somewhat rocky past. When Jay Z got on stage beside his former nemesis, Nas, the crowd went crazy. MTV says it was the biggest surprise of the night, and a lot of shocking things were happening on this second day. The two rapped “Dead Presidents II” and “Where I’m From,” which are both songs off of Jay Z’s album In My Lifetime, Vol. 1.
Coachella is a celebrity filled festival, whether they’re performing or just enjoying the music, and these two really won the crowds over.
