Indiana Pacers save their season with 91-88 win over Atlanta Hawks

The Indiana Pacers' hopes of advancing to the next round of the NBA playoffs improved greatly as they beat the Atlanta Hawks, 91-88, to even the series 2-2.

The Pacers rallied from a nine-point deficit in the third quarter and took a 66-65 lead at the end of it. The fourth quarter went back and forth before the Hawks took an 85-81 lead with 3:59 remaining.

Paul George and David West each hit clutch three-pointers, according to ESPN. This put the Pacers ahead for good. George missed two free throws with seven seconds left, but the Hawks failed to capitalize.

The Pacers reminded everyone of their defensive reputation by holding the Hawks to 35.7 percent shooting.

According to CBS Sports, George led the Pacers with 24 points and added 10 rebounds to record his fourth consecutive double-double. West added another 18 points for the Pacers and grabbed five rebounds.

Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 29 points and seven rebounds, and Kyle Korver added 15 points and nine rebounds.
