Harrison twins decide to stay in Kentucky for sophomore seasons

Twins Aaron and Andrew Harrison, who both play guard for the Kentucky basketball team, announced that they will return for their sophomore seasons.

Kentucky surprised college basketball fans by making it to the championship game of the NCAA tournament. They lost to UConn though. Aaron Harrison played a major role in the Wildcats' run, making multiple clutch shots. He made these shots against tough teams like Louisville, Michigan and Wisconsin.

According to FOX Sports, Kentucky is expected to have a stacked squad heading into the 2014-15 season. Four promising freshman recruits, the Harrison twins, Alex Poythress and Willie Cauley-Stein will all be on next season's Kentucky team.

Julius Randle and James Young are the only Kentucky players leaving early for the NBA draft.

With the Harrison twins returning, the Wildcats are expected to receive a preseason No. 1 ranking, according to USA Today.

The Harrison twins cited their desire to win a national championship as their primary reasons for returning to Kentucky.
