Dante and Lulu woke up in bed at home with Rocco. She asked what Obrecht wanted the night before and he told her that she wanted all the charges against her dropped – in exchange for their other embryo. Lulu didn’t believe it but Dante told her that Obrecht insisted that she kept it as a bargaining chip despite what Britt said about it not being viable.
At home, a shirtless Nathan offered to make coffee but Levi offered a homemade detoxifying tea instead. He then told Nathan that he had given advice to Britt about her love life and thought all Nikolas needed was the courage to forgive her. Levi then added that he thought Nathan needed to same courage to forgive his mom. Frustrated, Nathan grabbed Levi but Maxie interrupted and broke up the exchange. Levi then said that they needed to get away from the negative energy and he and Maxie left. Once they were alone, Nathan wished Britt luck with Nikolas. She replied that she just hoped that he hadn’t stopped loving her. Later, Maxie told Levi that the baby Britt had to give up was Dante and Lulu’s biological son. She also couldn’t believe Nathan slept with Britt but Levi corrected her and told her they just talked all night. Levi then added that he thought Nathan’s negativity was toxic, could eat away at Maxie’s progress and that Nathan needed to go. Maxie replied that she couldn’t just ask him to leave but Levi told her that she had every right since it was her apartment.
In their cells, Madeline asked Obrecht not to tell Nathan he was her son, but Obrecht thought it could be catastrophic if he slept with Britt. Madeline wondered what the odds were of that happening. Obrecht then said that she was sure Madeline would be in jail the rest of her life for killing her daughter, but Madeline suggested that she had her own ticket to freedom. Obrecht doubted it. Then, a cop came to bring Obrecht up to go see Dante. She ran into Nathan on the way and begged to talk to him, but he refused to listen and she was led off. Once they were alone, Nathan told Madeline that he drank his sorrows away with the daughter of her cellmate. Madeline asked if he slept with her but he wouldn’t tell her. She then told him that he could never sleep with her because she was his sister. Madeline then explained that her last name wasn’t West, it was Westbourne and she wasn’t his mother, Obrecht was, which made Britt his sister.
Upstairs, Michael stormed into PCPD and wailed at Anna for not finding AJ’s killer yet. She told him they were focusing on the burglar who threatened AJ, that they didn’t have an ID yet, but they traced his dropped gun to an illegal dealer they were closing in on now. Michael then apologized for yelling and told her that he just got the call to pick up AJ’s death certificate. She apologized for his loss and then he left. Then, Obrecht was brought up and accused Anna again of killing Faison. Then, Dante and Lulu arrived and Obrecht commented that her freedom had arrived. Dante then told Anna that it could be nothing and she waited outside. Inside the PCPD interrogation room, they asked Obrecht about the embryo. She promised them that it was safe and would return it to them once they give her full immunity from all prosecution, and the same for Britt. Outside the interrogation room, Anna was told that the gun dealer was on his way and she was sure it was only a matter of time before the burglar was identified.
At GH, Elizabeth asked Nikolas for a ride home and he convinced her to move in with him instead. Britt arrived just in time to hear Elizabeth agree. Elizabeth then thanked Britt for helping after she got shot. Nikolas interrupted saying that she wouldn’t have been shot if Britt hadn’t there in the first place. Britt replied that she could see that he still hated her and he told her how devastated Spencer was that she and Ben were gone as Elizabeth got ready to go home with Nikolas. He then told Britt that it was the least he could do given all the times Elizabeth warned him about her and then he left to get the car. Once they were alone, Britt told Elizabeth that her side of Nikolas’ bed wasn’t even cold yet and she was moving in.
Meanwhile, Patrick and Sabrina caught up with each other. She told him that she was sorry to hear about AJ, that she knew he did the best and heard how extensive AJ’s injuries were. He replied that he went into the surgery angry, that the committee was looking into it and that his career was on the line. Then, Carlos showed up to accompany Sabrina to her baby appointment but Patrick told him that he wasn’t needed. Carlos told Patrick to back off and Patrick asked Sabrina what she wanted. She thanked Carlos for helping, but today Patrick was coming to the appointment because Patrick was the father, bottom line. Carlos promised to be there for her when she needed him again. Then, he left and Patrick promised Sabrina that he wouldn’t let her down again. He added that he knew that he broke her heart but he was going to be there for her and the baby because he wanted to be, that his children were the only thing that made him feel better and that he was looking forward to it. Meanwhile, Carlos got on the elevator with Michael.
From ELQ, “Luke” called Julian at the gallery for an update on their drug shipment. Tracy peered in at “Luke.” He got off the phone and made excuses for what she overheard. She then said she was annoyed that he had claimed an office without her approval, said they they needed boundaries and that ELQ was her sanctuary. He replied that he wanted to prove he was committed to her and the company. She then caved and he announced he was going to fetch her birthday painting... so they could replace that photo of Edward on the wall. Tracy said that the portrait was going to stay even though “Luke” said he thought “good ol’ Eddie” would be more comfortable at home. Once he was gone, Tracy told Edward's portrait that “Luke” wasn't the person he used to be and that he really loved her... in his quirky way. Then, Ned popped up. They talked about all the family funerals and how hard all of this was on Monica. When she explained that she was marrying “Luke” and that he was working at ELQ, Ned thought she'd gone crazy. She thought he should be happy but he thought “Luke” was just after her money. Ned replied that he just couldn't see any good in “that man” and was sure that Luke will never be a stand-up guy. "You can hear grandfather rolling over in his grave," he said, as he begged her not to make a big mistake.
Carlos got on the hospital elevator with Michael. He read AJ's death certificate over his shoulder. Michael wondered why he was so interested. Carlos paid his condolences and asked Michael if there were any leads in the case. Michael got to his stop before he could explain much but Carlos got paranoid nonetheless.
At home, Sonny smirked to himself about AJ's case remaining unsolved. Then, AJ's ghost appeared and began to taunt him. Sonny tried to ignore him and began screaming until Duke interrupted. He guesses that Sonny was feeling guilty. Duke then repeated his pledge of loyalty to him. "Your secret is safe with me," he said as Michael arrived. Duke paid his condolences to Michael and left. Distraught, Michael told Sonny that the cops were closing in on AJ’s killer. Sonny warned him not to get his hopes up. Michael then headed out and AJ's image returned to taunt Sonny some more.
At Kelly's, Shawn hoped that Jordan had come to her senses about working at the Jerome Gallery. She told she hadn't and wished he'd be more supportive. Then, TJ strolled in and wonders what they were bickering about. She downplayed the situation and then headed to work. Once again, TJ wondered why there was so much tension between Shawn and his mom. Shawn insisted it was nothing. After TJ leaves for school, Duke dropped in with some “disturbing news.”
Ava showed up at the gallery and ranted at Julian. He replied that he was doing his civic duty. She continued ranting until he pointed out that she'd been feeding information to Sonny. Ava denied that so he teased her about Morgan. Then, Jordan arrived. Carlos trailed in after her and anxiously demanded to talk to Ava. They went into a corner and Carlos recounted his run-in with Michael. She reminded him that the cops had the gun he used in the botched hit on AJ, but Carlos said that he was sure it was untraceable.
Meanwhile, Julian assured Jordan that TJ had nothing to fear from him. Then, ‘Luke” arrived and got flirty with Jordan. Julian sent her to wrap Tracy’s birthday painting. When she brought it over, “Luke” said, "Why don't you bring it home with me to make sure it's well hung?" She turned him down. Once “Luke” left, Julian apologized to Jordan. She replied by telling him that she knew all about his drug operation and wanted in.
At the PCPD, Anna told Dante they had a lead on AJ's killer. They found the guy who sold the murder weapon. They then went to the interrogation room to question the gun dealer. They gave him an offer and then a threat. The guy explained that the gun was part of a large sale and that he could recognize the buyer. Anna then handed him the mug shot books. He soon found Carlos' picture and told Anna and Dante that he sold the gun to him.
“Luke” returned to ELQ. Ned was still there with Tracy. “Luke” told Ned that he hoped he was giving them his blessing. "As soon as you sign a pre-nup," Ned replied. He wanted “Luke” to prove that he was marrying Tracy for love and nothing else. “Luke” replied that he wanted in at ELQ so his relationship with Tracy would be a true partnership. “Luke” then accused Ned of worrying about getting cut out of the will. “Luke” wanted Tracy to back him up and she asked Ned to leave. Ned begged her not to let “Luke” play her before leaving. Once they were alone, Tracy told “Luke” there would be a pre-nup, and he would sign it. He then accused her of not having the same commitment he did and suggested they call their engagement off.
At the PCPD, Dante told Michael that the gun dealer ID’d a potential subject and showed him a picture of Carlos. Michael told them that Carlos was just asking him about AJ and the investigation. Michael then suggested that Ava and Julian were in on AJ’s murder all whole time since Carlos works for them. Anna and Dante then headed out when they got a tip that Carlos’ car was at Ava’s gallery.
At Kelly’s, Duke and Shawn discussed the Jerome’s drug operation. Duke told Shawn that cocaine, and lots of it, was already available on the streets. Shawn thought Jordan was involved too even though she swore she was starting over, but Shawn had reason to doubt her considering her history running drugs back in Maryland and that she even did a few years in jail. Duke worried that if Shawn was wrong he could alienate TJ. Duke then suggested they send Anna after Julian’s drug trade before talking turned to Sonny. Duke told Shawn that Sonny seemed to be wrestling with guilt over AJ’s death before he left. Shawn called Jordan, but got no answer.
At the gallery, Carlos told Ava that there was no way the gun could be traced back to him. He then wondered if Ava has lied to him about shooting AJ but she promised him that she didn’t do it. He pointed out AJ was the only one who could ID her as Connie’s shooter – except for him. Ava then asked Carlos if he’d give her up if he had to. Meanwhile, Jordan told Julian that she knew all about the drug operation and wanted in. She added that she knew when and where the shipment came in and that it was already in the hands of his dealers, that she had expertise in distribution, wasn’t sloppy like his people and that her reputation was stellar. He thought she was wearing a wire for Anna. Anna entered just then with Dante, but they were looking for Carlos. Carlos and Ava then turned the corner. Carlos resisted and Anna arrested him for attacking an officer. Julian stopped Ava from following and demanded to know what she was hiding. Ava apologized to Jordan and excused herself to call a lawyer for Carlos. Julian then commented how poised Jordan was during the raid, but wanted her to prove she wasn’t wearing a wire. She slowly unbuttoned her top to prove it and said, “Are you satisfied with what I am showing you or do you need a more thorough search?” she taunted before walking out.
AJ haunted Sonny at his place and wondered how long before Sonny revealed himself for the Judas he was. Sonny then screamed and threw a glass across the room, barely missing Olivia. AJ egged Sonny on as he told Olivia that the cops had a lead on AJ’s killer. She said that she was glad for Michael, but she knew something was eating Sonny alive and she couldn’t pretend to ignore it anymore. Sonny then screamed for AJ to get out of his face. She then demanded to know what was eating at him and he yelled at her that she wasn’t his mother and that it was none of her business. She reminded him that she was going through pain and loss too and thought they were dealing with Connie’s death together but now she saw there was an ugly part of him that he was hiding. She begged him to get help and left. Then, AJ got right back to taunting Sonny.
At GH, Patrick stayed by Sabrina’s side for her appointment and apologized for being unreliable lately. He then said that he would be there for her and the baby no matter what anyone said, but refused to let Carlos near his baby. Then, Dr. Lee entered to handle the exam and asked them if they wanted to know the sex of the baby. They said they did and learned they were having a healthy boy and were overjoyed.
Back at the PCPD, Michael screamed at Carlos until he was taken into the interrogation room. Anna scolded Michael for his temper tantrums and asked him to let them do their job. In the interrogation room, Carlos says he knew nothing about AJ’s murder. Dante then brought out Carlos’ gun and told him that his dealer had sold him out. Carlos asked for his lawyer, but Dante suggested he talk right now.
Outside, Ava got a call from Sonny…he needed her help.
At ELQ, "Luke" threatened to call off the wedding if Tracy refused to trust him. He then suggested that she give his ring back then. She replied that she wouldn't let him walk away from her because she loved him. "Then prove it," he challenged. Tracy then agreed to take the pre-nup off the table. He was thrilled and hugged her. She then went off to tell Ned to halt the pre-nup. On the way, she told her Edward’s portrait that she trusted “Luke” with her life and money. Meanwhile, “Luke” sat in her office, lit up a cigar and snickered, "Sucker."
Ava arrived outside Sonny's, called Diane and ordered her to make sure that Carlos kept his mouth shut. Inside, Sonny was thinking of his argument with Olivia. Then, Ava came in. Sonny told her that AJ had been pushing him to the edge. He worried about Carly trying to help him if she thought he was losing his mind and that Ava was the only person he could talk to. She told him that they needed to stay strong and silent. Besides, the cops were trying to pin the murder on Carlos. Ava wished she could help Sonny more.
At the PCPD, Anna and Dante questioned Carlos about AJ’s murder. He drank from a water bottle. Anna and Dante badgered him, but he refused to talk without his lawyer. Anna took his water bottle and walked out with Dante. She then told Dante that they had Carlos right where they wanted him and dropped the bottle into an evidence bag. They'll get his DNA off it. Dante then filled her in on what Obrecht told him about his and Lulu’s other embryo. She wondered what he'd decide to do.
At Wyndemere, Spencer kept worrying about Sonny and “Luke” but Nikolas insisted that he must be confused. Then, Elizabeth and Cameron showed up. The little boys glared at each other. Cameron tried to be friendly, but Spencer refused to play along and stomped off. Nikolas ordered him to apologize, but Spencer got sarcastic. Nikolas then lectures him about treating everyone with courtesy. He then ordered Spencer to share his Easter eggs with Cameron. Spencer warned him that he wasn’t giving up on Emma. This left Elizabeth alone with Nikolas. She wondered if he was missing Britt. Nikolas insisted that he wasn't. Meanwhile, Spencer called Sonny and left him an urgent message.
Britt dropped by Dante and Lulu’s with allergy meds for Ben. Lulu was cold and informed her that the baby’s name was now Rocco. She then explained that Obrecht had been claiming she had one of her embryos. This was the first that Britt had heard about it, she told Lulu. Lulu also told her that Obrecht would tell them where the embryo was in exchange for all the charges against her being dropped as well as immunity for both her and Britt. Britt was shocked considering she was the one who led the cops to Obrecht in the first place. Before leaving, Britt explained that her mother didn't make idle threats and that if Lulu and Dante wanted to know where the embryo was, they'd have to make the deal.
At Maxie's, she informed Nathan that he needed to move out... as soon as possible. He replied that he was paid up until the end of the month and told her she could move out. She said that she wouldn't do that and didn't think her aura could stand his “toxic vibes.” Nathan assumed that “Mr. Truth Pillows” was behind this. Then, Levi wandered in and admitted that all of this was his suggestion. Maxie suggested that Nathan go and stay with Britt. Nathan then blurted out that he couldn’t because she was his sister. Maxie took that in and told him he didn’t have to leave. This lead to bickering with Levi, who thought Maxie was making the wrong decision. Nathan agreed to stay and walked off to take a shower to wash away his “toxic vibes.”
At Wyndemere, Spencer called Sonny and left another message. Since he wasn't calling him back, he ordered his chauffeur to drive him over to Sonny’s house instead of school.
“Luke” showed up at Kiki's. She wasn’t happy to see him. He said that he knew she was alone and waved his donuts at her. “Luke” then accused her of trying to come between him and Tracy so she could have him for herself. When he grabbed her hands, she kneed him between the legs and shoved him out the door. "You don't deserve my donuts!" he yelped in the hallway as he limped away.
Sonny opened his door. AJ's ghost danced in to taunt him. Then, Olivia showed up. It was uncomfortable. She said that she didn't want to leave him alone but needed a break. She then walked off. Once alone, Sonny and AJ’s ghost bickered. Sonny tried to ignore him. Then, Spencer started pounding on the door. Sonny screamed at him to go away. AJ’s ghost started talking to Sonny about his funeral, what all of this was doing to Michael and how he was sure that the guilt would eat Sonny alive.
At her place, Ava called Diane and ordered her to get on top of Carlos' case. Then, Morgan emerged and asked her why Carlos was gunning for AJ. She was evasive and the topic turned to discussing whether anyone realized they were still together. Morgan replied that he wasn’t even sure they were. "Are we good?" he wondered. They both admitted that they had residual feelings for Kiki and Silas, but still loved each other. They made out on the table until Kiki called frantic after her encounter with “Luke.” He ran off to see her.
At the Quartermaine’s, Ned and Tracy discussed AJ. She thought of all the chances he blew. Ned then showed her an article about Carlos' arrest. He then pulled out the pre-nup and asked where the “aging gigolo” was. Tracy made it clear that she trusted “Luke,” but Ned was sure that she was being played. She reminded him of her bond with “Luke” and insisted he was devoted to her heart and soul. "Why are you being so dumb?" Ned shouted. Then, “Luke” arrives with donuts and announced that he and Tracy didn't need the pre-nup. Tracy then went off to get dressed for AJ’s funeral. Once they were alone, “Luke” ripped up the pre-nup and told Ned that he would kill him if he tried to prevent the wedding. “You have changed. You weren't always a thug,” Ned replied. After he walked off, Spencer showed up. "I know all about what you are trying to do to my Uncle Sonny," Spencer said to “Luke.”
Morgan arrived at Kiki's. She said that she couldn't call Michael because of the funeral. Kiki then told him what happened with “Luke.” Morgan thought she needed to call the cops and said he would have a word with “Luke” himself.
Franco picked up the paper outside his hotel room door and showed Carly the article on Carlos. She took it as evidence that Ava was involved in AJ’s murder. He thought it was all over but she still wanted to know what was going on. She was irritated and he wondered if she was angry at him. Carly then shouted about how Ava was threatening her family and said she wondered if she could trust Franco and claimed she only wanted to know the truth. Then, Carly stormed out. In the hall, she ran into a distraught Olivia. She invited her in to moan about Sonny. They found Franco painting the walls. "It's wonderful, isn't?" he asked. Carly and Olivia didn't feel the same way. Olivia stormed off to call the cops to report Franco’s vandalism. Once they were alone, Franco told Carly that he figured out a way to get to talk Carlos while he’s in custody so he could get her the answers she wants. Carly was impressed that he got himself arrested for her.
At the PCPD, Dante and Anna continued to interrogate Carlos, who kept insisting he was innocent. Anna claimed they had DNA evidence from the object that Tracy hit him with that said otherwise. Diane finally arrived, interrupted the interrogation and kicked Anna and Dante out. Once they were alone, Carlos told her about the break-in. Ava called Diane, ordered her to put Carlos on the phone and then step out of the room. Once Diane was gone, Ava ordered Carlos to stay silent. He told her about the DNA evidence. She warned him that he would be very sorry if he ratted her out. "You can't touch me," he replied. She then threatens to go after Sabrina instead.
