'General Hospital' weekly recap – Week of 4/7-4/11

At GH, Ava told Silas that Nakamura was alive and urged him to go to the hotel to shut him up. Ava really believed Silas was the one who tried to kill Nina. Silas thought Nina tried to kill herself over him, then thought it was Ava who did it. Ava then swore on Kiki’s life that she never touched Nina. She wondered what could have been if they had cleared this up before. He didn’t think there was any sense in wondering. She tenderly wished him good luck and he left to find answers. Then, Morgan arrived, jealous, “Are you still in love with Silas?” he asked her. She replied that he gave her Kiki so she would always love him, but she loved Morgan too. She then wondered if Kiki still had a hold on Morgan but he replied that it wasn’t the same. "Isn’t it?" she asked.

Nathan switched on the light in the hotel room and caught Madeline trying to inject Sam. He was shocked to see his mother. Madeline played dumb. Sam then called for Nathan to make a move and wondered if he was going to arrest her. Sam thought Madeline was the one who put Nina in the coma and killed Nakamura. Nathan then yelled at Madeline for pushing him to build a case when she was the culprit all along. Madeline insisted that she didn’t do anything to anyone and that they couldn’t prove that she had. Then, Silas arrived and Madeline continued to deny that she had done anything wrong. Sam then dropped the bomb that Nathan was really Madeline’s son, James. Silas then remembered that Madeline never let him come by and Nina had to visit James without Silas. Nathan then demanded to know why she tried to get rid of Nina. Then, Madeline finally broke, saying, "I wasn’t trying to get rid of Nina, I was trying to get rid of her baby!”

At the gallery, Julian read the article about Nakamura and mused that it was nice knowing Ava. Then, Ric arrived and tells Julian that Sonny thought he was funding his war against him so to stop the rumors, Ric dropped Julian as a client. Ric added that had made many mistakes and was tired of living that way. Then, Alexis sauntered in. Ric told her that he had just resigned and left. Alexis then told Julian that she wasn’t ready for Molly to know about them. He wondered if that meant their night together was just another one-time thing. Alexis then said she thought herself as a hypocrite because she dumped Shawn for being in the mob and now she was with Julian. He suggested that maybe she broke up with Shawn because he wasn’t the right guy for her. He then began to undress her and promised to give her whatever she needs. Then, they started going at it on the desk.

At Kelly’s, Tracy was miffed with “Luke” for not caring about Ben’s kidnapping. He said that he had a plan and that it involved operating outside the law. “Luke” then relished his BLT and had a gift for Tracy’s birthday a day late. She wasn’t impressed that he bought art from a gangster. He replied that he thought it might look good in his office and told her that he wanted to work with her at ELQ. She was totally shocked considering he had never worked an office job and demanded to know what his agenda was. He replied that he’d just like to see her more often and couldn’t wait to be Mr. Tracy Quartermaine. She told him that she’d consider it then she headed back to the office to handle an acquisition. Once she was gone, “Luke” went to pay at the bar where Ric was sitting and warned him that Sonny wanted him dead.

Britt arrived at the PCPD and told Lulu and Dante that she could take them to Ben because her mom had called her, had passports and a plan out of the country ready to go, but Britt said that she couldn’t do that to them. She then told them that her mom was at Elizabeth’s. They were worried that Britt was double crossing them. She finally got them on board but Dante wouldn’t let Lulu come. Lulu and Dante hugged goodbye and he promised to bring their son home.

At Elizabeth’s, Nikolas wanted to know who he heard earlier. Then, Obrecht popped out and pulled a gun on Elizabeth. Nikolas offered to trade places with Elizabeth, but Obrecht wasn’t interested. Instead, she invited him in. "After all, two’s company, three’s a party," Obrecht said and told Nikolas that Britt was on her way to get the baby. Nikolas didn’t believe Britt would do it. Obrecht then accused Nikolas of abandoning Britt just as all men did. She then aimed her gun at him and refused to make the same mistake. Elizabeth intervened and told her that Britt would be devastated if she shot Nikolas. Obrecht agreed that Britt would miss Nikolas, but not Elizabeth. Just then Britt knocked and asks Obrecht to open up. The place was surrounded with cops.

At The Metro Court, Madeline confirmed that Nina was pregnant. Madeline had taken graphic pictures of Silas with Ava and showed them to Nina. Nina told Madeline she was pregnant once she saw the pictures, but Nina believed once Silas knew she was pregnant he would stop seeing Ava. Then, Madeline found out that taking too many antidepressants could cause a miscarriage. Nathan then asked how Nakamura fit in, but she said she didn’t know. Silas then told him that Madeline picked up Nina’s medicine many times and Nina showed no signs of struggle when Silas found her. Madeline then said that she never meant to hurt her little girl and collapsed in tears. She then added that she was just trying to do right for Nina, that everything she had done was for her family and begged for Nathan to understand. He couldn’t and arrested her for the murder of Nakamura and Nina Clay. Later, Silas told Sam that he should have been a better husband, and because he wasn’t he lost his wife and child. She reminded him that none of this was his fault. He then remembered how much Nina loved her little brother, how Nina put up with Madeline if she got to be with James and got excited about everything they did together. He then told Sam that he knew she would have been a good mother.

When Carly got back to Franco’s room he questioned where she’d been. He thought she was been avoiding him and that she was hiding something from him with Sonny. Franco then said that he knew something big went on because Carly wasn’t acting like herself. Secrets are destructive and he asked her if she trusted him. She said that she did and then Franco laid out his theory that Sonny shot AJ. Carly replied that Sonny promised not to kill AJ and Franco was sure Sonny meant it until he shot him. Franco then gave Carly the choice to trust him or not. She then told him that he was right… Sonny did shoot AJ.

At The Floating Rib, Olivia told Sonny that there was a break in the case and hopefully Dante was bringing home the baby. She was overjoyed and wondered why Sonny looked so sad. He replied that he didn’t know how Michael would get through losing AJ and that he didn’t want to see his son suffer like this. Olivia told him that whoever was responsible was whoever shot AJ, but once Ben was home the PCPD would solve that case too. She also thought seeing AJ’s shooter behind bars would go a long way in helping Michael to heal. She then told Sonny that he was the only father Michael had left and that he needed him more than ever.

Britt arrives at Elizabeth’s. Inside, Obrecht told Elizabeth to get the baby and held the gun on Nikolas as he opened the door. Britt was shocked to see her mom had a gun on him. She apologized to Nikolas for her mother, but he replied that he had long since stopped believing her apologies. Britt then assured her mother that there has been no one watching. Nikolas couldn’t believe Britt was really going to take the baby on the run. She then said that she was doing what was best for the baby. He replied that he never really knew her. Meanwhile, Dante listened to everything outside. Elizabeth brought down the baby and Obrecht directed Nikolas to hand Britt a bag with everything she and Ben needed to start a new life. Obrecht’s eyes welled up with tears as she told Britt that she wanted to make sure she was all right. Obrecht had Elizabeth hand Ben to Britt and then directed Elizabeth to go over to Nikolas. Just then, Dante busted in with guns on Obrecht, who started to put her gun down, then lunges for Dante’s gun. They struggled and Elizabeth got shot. Nikolas screamed for Britt to help and she handed the baby to Dante. Britt put pressure on the wound and Nikolas begged her to save Elizabeth, but she was fading fast.

Anna stopped Lulu from leaving the PCPD to go to Ben. She didn’t want Lulu to pull Dante’s focus. Lulu understood but staying there was killing her. Anna told Lulu that she knew what she was feeling and told her about the time Robin was kidnapped as a child. Anna told Lulu that in order to control the fear she had faith that Robin was going to come home safe and when she saw young Robin running toward her, it was a mix of relief and gratitude and pure love. Anna then assured Lulu that she would hold her baby again. Later, Anna found Nathan leading Madeline in and he told her that she was the one who killed Nina. Nathan then said he had the entire confession and Madeline said, “You do?” Later, Obrecht was put in a cell next to a weeping Madeline. They recognized each other. Meanwhile, Dante returned to the PCPD with Ben to an ecstatic Lulu.

Nathan unwound at home and found Maxie was there.

Carly confirmed to Franco that Sonny shot AJ. "This is awesome!" he replied because he finally had Sonny where he wanted him. Sonny usually just killed people for business and now he'd done it for personal reasons. She ordered him not to tell anyone about this and to keep quiet for Michael's sake and for hers. He assured her she could always trust him, but it would be hard for him to keep his mouth shut. She then explained that Ava was also involved. He smirked and they wondered why AJ was trying to kill Ava. Carly then said she was determined to find out exactly what went on.

Britt and Nikolas arrived at GH. Elizabeth was rushed into surgery. Nikolas demanded to know if Elizabeth would be okay. Britt relied that she didn't know. He thanked her for helping stabilize Elizabeth and then asked her to go since he still blamed everything on her. Once she left, a doctor came out and informed Nikolas that none of Elizabeth's vital organs were hit. He went in to see her and blamed himself for what happened. "I have a lot to apologize for," he said. She forgave him and he took her hand.

Lulu was thrilled to see Dante with the baby at the PCPD. They had a threeway hug. She worried it was all a dream so Dante pinched her. He then explained that Elizabeth was shot. They then got a call saying that Elizabeth was going to be fine. When they turned around, Britt was there. She asked for a moment to talk, but Dante told her to go home while they figured out what to charge her with. Britt then asked to say goodbye to Ben. Dante didn't want to allow it, but Lulu told her to make it quick. Britt held Ben and promised that everything would be okay, that she won't be around, but he has parents who will take care of him. "I'll always love you," she said, kissing the baby goodbye. She then ran out in tears. Dante was impressed by Lulu's generosity. "It's time for us to be a family," she said.

Nathan was startled to find Maxie in the apartment. She was shocked that the place looked exactly the same as when she left. "I just feel like all of this belongs to someone else," she said before probing him about what was wrong. He tried to explain but she babbled until an Aussie named Levi walked out in a towel. Nathan wasn’t happy he'd been using his shampoo. Levi then bragged about all the charity work he'd done. Eventually, he stopped and offered Nathan a ‘truth pillow.’ Nathan snapped about arresting his mom for killing his pregnant sister. Levi told him to let the anger go, which didn't go over well and Nathan stormed out. Maxie thanked Levi for helping her in the Philippines and then they made out.

Madeline was shocked to see Obrecht in the cell next to her. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Madeline said as Obrecht sneered. They never thought their paths would cross again. Obrecht thought it was a cruel twist of fate. "Is that any way to speak to your big sister?" Madeline asked. Obrecht didn't consider her a sister since she abandoned her. They then traded insults and realized that they we’re both in there for what they did for their children. As they argued about who had suffered more, Nathan showed up to rail at Madeline. She didn't want to talk there but he demanded some answers and then stormed out without getting any. Obrecht guessed that Nathan was really James. "He's my son!" Obrecht gasped.

Sonny and Olivia were at The Floating Rib. She was thrilled about the baby coming home safe. She could see he was worried about Michael but thought that he needed to count his blessings. Olivia worried about baby poop and ran off to buy diapers. Once she was gone, Sonny joined Ava in a booth and tipped her off about AJ's last words to Carly. She gulped, but he assured her she had nothing to worry about. Then, Britt walked in and sat at the bar and Nathan joined her. They started drinking vodka. After he made it clear that he knew who she was, she wondered why he was sitting with her. She told him that she had no idea what to do without Ben. Britt then mulled over everything she had lost thanks to “the nurse from Hell,” She then vented about Elizabeth and then beat herself up for hurting Nikolas. Nathan still didn't think she was as bad as his mother. He then told her what Madeline did and then they both drank more. "Your mother sounds a whole lot like my mother," Britt replied. They then toasted to their miserable lives. After a few drinks, he asked her to leave with him. "Why not?" she shrugged. Out in the alley, Julian called Sam to check in. She told him that she didn't have much news. “Luke” came out of the shadows when Julian got off the phone. He said that their problems with Sonny were about to be taken care of. They went into The Floating Rib and sat in a booth. “Luke” explained that he'd been fanning the flames between the brothers Corinthos and that should keep Sonny distracted. Julian thinks he was playing a dangerous game. "My plans for Port Charles are deadly serious," said “Luke.”

Silas and Sam were in his apartment with Danny. She told him that she thought he would have been an amazing father. He told Sam how amazing she was and how she makes him want to talk about his feelings. He then added that he'll never know how things could have turned out with Nina because of Madeline. After putting Danny to sleep, he worried about what was next. She reminded him that he was finally free. They then hit the sheets.

Sonny showed up at home. Ric was waiting for him. He told Sonny that he thought Sonny wanted him dead since “Luke” told him so. They argued about this and Ric explained that he quit working for Julian and that he just wanted peace between then, then walked out. Sonny called “Luke” to come over. When “Luke” arrived, Sonny asked him what kind of game he was playing. This sounded like a threat to “Luke.” Sonny told him what Ric told him and demanded to know why he told his brother about his suspicions. “Luke” claimed that Ric was trashing him and he couldn't handle it. “Luke” apologized for letting Ric get to him and wondered who Sonny would believe. Then, Olivia stumbled in and cooed about the baby. “Luke” made it clear that he didn't find the news heartwarming and said that looking at babies just reminded him of death. "You never know when you're looking death straight in the face," he told Sonny. Sonny walked him out and glared suspiciously.

In their separate cells, Obrecht realized that Nathan was really her son James. "You gave him to me!" screeched Madeline. Obrecht replied that giving up the baby broke her heart and that she had no choice. Madeline told her to forget about James, Obrecht said that she couldn't do that. She then wondered why Nathan's last name was changed and probed Madeline about what she did to him to make him so angry at her. Madeline blamed everything on Silas. Obrecht didn't find that convincing and threatened to tell Nathan everything.

Nikolas was in Elizabeth’s hospital room apologizing. He held her hand and she worried about him but he assured her that he was fine. Elizabeth was sure that he was emotionally imploding. He then told her that he didn't know how to tell Spencer what's happened. Elizabeth got philosophical about how irrational feelings were. Nikolas thought it sounded like she was pushing him back to Britt. She then told him that she wouldn't judge him for still loving Britt. Then, Ric ran in saying that had just heard that she had been shot. A doctor came in and said that only one of them could stay. Elizabeth suggested that Nikolas go home to look after his son. Nikolas rolled his eyes at Ric and left. Ric fussed over Elizabeth in her hospital room even though she insisted it was just a scratch. He wondered what was up with her and Nikolas. Elizabeth told him that she thought it would take awhile for Nikolas to get over Britt. Ric then told her that he was committed to having her back in his life and he was determined to prove how much she meant to him.

Nikolas was in his room at Wyndemere, remembering his toast to Britt and moped around for awhile. Then, Spencer showed up and he wouldn't go away. He wanted some answers about where Britt was and worried that the Chupacabra got her. Nikolas explained she had moved out. Spencer wondered if Nikolas didn't love her anymore. Nikolas explained that she did something he couldn't forgive, but assured Spencer that he'd never stop loving him. As they hugged, Spencer explains that Emma had dumped him but he was sure she'd come back. He then told him that Sonny helped him out but he was worried that “Luke” is out to get him. Nikolas was confused and asked for an explanation and assumed that Spencer must have misunderstood.

A drunken Britt and Nathan stumbled into his place. Britt wanted more to drink. He started telling her about his roommate. "We've hit rock bottom. There are no more surprises left," she groaned. When she tried to kiss him, he pulled away. He didn't want to take advantage of her, but they got ready to kiss anyway. "Britt!" Maxie squealed when she spots them. She started blabbing about her history with Britt, who told her that Lulu was finally getting her baby. Maxie thought it was wonderful and that the universe must be balancing out. Britt drank more and decided it was time to go. Nathan insisted that she stay so she took the couch. Once she was alone, she looked at pictures of Ben on her phone.

Lulu and Dante took Ben to their place. They found Olivia waiting for them. She wondered if they were going to change his name. After Olivia left, the couple contemplated the name change. "Isn't he a Rocco?" Dante asked. Lulu agreed.

Obrecht threatens to tell James everything. Madeline thought that would only lead to Nathan resenting her, but Obrecht thought that Britt could comfort her bother. "Get her a puppy," suggested Madeline. Obrecht then worried that the siblings might hook up if they didn't warn them. Madeline thought that was a ridiculous idea. Obrecht started bragging about how she would be out soon. "By the time I'm through, I won't be the villain, I'll be the hero," she claimed. Then, a cop came down and handed her a phone. She called Dante and offered to make her statement but only to him. When he arrived, she told him that she knows about his “other child.”
