On Thursday, a school bus crashed in Anaheim Hills, California. 11 kids were injured in the process, and three of them were critically injured.
The bus leaned against a eucalyptus tree after the crash, and firefighters took about 15 minutes to take the driver out of the accident. There has been no evidence that another vehicle was involved in the crash.
CBS Local reports that the children were being dropped off at El Rancho Charter School in Anaheim.
According to Reuters, the bus driver was among those who were critically injured. He and two students from the school were taken to a local hospital.
The crash occurred 25 miles south of Los Angeles, and the children who were injured were taken to hospitals by their parents or legal guardians.
Some of the students admitted to taking off their seat belts during the bus ride, despite the driver's father insisting that wearing a seat belt is important for safety.
