Bruce Springsteen performed on Sunday, the last day of a festival in Dallas for the NCAA Final Four.
According to the Associated Press, Springsteen said, “This has something to do with basketball. Am I right?" Springsteen said before he played Van Halen's Jump at the NCAA March Madness Music Festival. Springsteen and the E Street band dazzled fans with popular songs like “Hungry Heart,” “Glory Days,” and “Dancing in the Dark.”
This year’s festival featured Jason Aldean, Mike Eli, Ricky Young of The Wild Feathers, Jack Ingram, ad Tim McGraw, according to the Dallas News. The performances were in Reunion Park.
Reunion Park is where Reunion Arena used to be. Springsteen isn’t the only popular recording artist that has played the festival. The festival has also hosted Jimmy Buffett, Sting, and Kenny Chesney.
Springsteen is having a great year. His 18th studio album, High Hopes, was released earlier this year. High Hopes features new and old hits from Springsteen. He is beginning a 15 date-tour on April 8th.
