Anaheim Ducks take 3-2 series lead with 6-2 win over Dallas Stars

The Anaheim Ducks returned home for Game 5 in their playoff series against the Dallas Stars, and they recovered with a crucial win after dropping two consecutive games in Dallas.

According to the LA Times, the Ducks beat the Stars 6-2. They scored four power-play goals, which set a team record.

The Ducks held a slim 3-2 lead in the second period before pulling away in the third period.

Ryan Getzlaf returned for the Ducks after sitting out Game 4 with an upper-body injury. He made an immediate impact in his return, scoring one of the power-play goals in the third period and contributing two assists.

Goalie Frederik Andersen also put together a solid performance with 34 saves out of 36 shots. This gave him a 94.4 save percentage. He recovered from a rocky game on Wednesday where he allowed four goals.

According to FOX News, the Ducks have a chance to eliminate the Stars on Sunday, but it will have to be on the road.
